Importing a Start Menu with COPYPROFILE has been deprecated. https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/yongrhee/2018/03/12/windows-10-using-copyprofile-for-the-start-menu-has-been-deprecated/ I would stay clear from using COPYPROFILE anyways. You can still configure the Default profile by injecting registry settings into C:\Users\Default\NTUser.dat or you can use provisioning packages.1 point

Thanks Andy, Just managed to get it fixed. Stumbled across a similar post on technet. I had to tick the "allow anonymous access" on the DP. It's super fast now. It seems for whatever reason the MDT toolkit package takes ages with this unticked. Even the MS engineer who initially found the fix was stumped as to why.1 point

We figured it out. I don't know how we missed it, but under the image properties in the Data Access tab we did not have a check next to Copy the content in this packages to a package share on DP. Hopefully this will help someone else that is just over looking it like we were1 point
