SCCM MDT integrated OSD keeps defaulting to US region and language Windows 10 instead of EN-GB
By RoryMac,
Hi please help I'm pulling my hair out! After imaging a client with Windows 10 using SCCM and MDT integrated task sequence the region and language keeps defaulting to US region and language. I have altered the MDT unattended XML file to add EN-GB as this:
SetupUILanguage>
<UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage>
</SetupUILanguage>
<InputLocale>en-GB</InputLocale>
<SystemLocale>en-GB</SystemLocale>
<UILanguage>en-US</UI

Force Clients to MS Update (Not the DP)
By RLC-Andrew,
I have a remote site with 15-20 computers (St Louis). There is no distribution point or SCCM server in that location. These clients currently look to another remote site as their distribution server (NY).
Someday, we'll deploy a full DP at the St Louis site. But for now, I want to distribute windows updates to the St Louis site but have them NOT download updates from the NY DP server.
I could install a DP in St Louis, with essentially no content on it. Point the clients to that DP.
Client displaying "This computer is being serviced" message
By kderoo,

Good morning,
Ever since I started using the Current Branch version of SCCM, I experience issues with clients showing the "This computer is being serviced" message. This week I made a complete new image for our Thin Clients, based on Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro. I followed the correct guide for creating this image and removed the SCCM client locally before capturing the image. Now when I deploy this image onto four different Thin Clients, two of them are showing the message after a se
Feature Update to Windows 10 1703
By jvmorrell,
Hi
Has anyone seen the situation where you deploy the Feature update to 1703 to a machine using windows 10 servicing, this then updates correctly but after the upgrade the update is still available in the update and has failed.
But the operating system is now 1703 and the upgrade worked correctly.
Thanks
John

[Failed]:Upgrading ConfigMgr database

By 19martin75,
Hi,
We have tried to install KB4019926 in our SCCM environment (Server 2012 R2, Current Branch SCCM 2012), but it has failed at the "Upgrade ConfigMgr database" step. All pre-requisites passed OK before installing. We have attempted one retry after a reboot of the server, which has failed at the same point. I can find plenty of threads to other issues with the upgrade ConfigMgr Database, but not that exactly match my situation. Can anyone help if I can provide the cmupdate.log?
