Error 87D00269 installing Applications during TS

    Lagamorph
    By Lagamorph,
Hi all, I've created a Task Sequence to deploy a non-domain joined Windows Server 2016 build however it fails whenever trying to install an Application with the following error, "Failed to run the action: Install Nagios Opsview.  Required management point not found (Error: 87D00269; Source: CCM)" I've found this thread on the issue, https://www.windows-noob.com/forums/topic/10746-error-0x87d00269-when-installing-application/ , and I've put a step into the task sequence before the I

    Client reboots after WinPE loads

    Cahij
    By Cahij,
Hi, Folks, I'm used to muddling through ConfigMgr problems on my own but I've hit the wall. Here's my situation: I am migrating from an old ConfigMgr hierarchy to a new install (1702). I am trying to get PXE boot working in the new environment. All of our clients and 64 bit UEFI devices. Here is what happens: * WinPE loads and immediately after "preparing network connections", the system reboots (every single time) * I press F8 and ipconfig /all shows a valid IP add

SCCM Client Stuck in Unprovisioned State After OSD

    Andrew Wells
    By Andrew Wells,
So I have an odd scenario that recently popped up where some clients are not provisioning after moving to Windows 10, build 1607 via a wipe and install Task Sequence. The clients will have the correct site code and assigned management point in the Control Panel applet, but if you check under the Actions tab, only Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle and User Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle are listed. This doesn't happen on all computers, but seems to be isolated to computers

SCCM 1703 OSD not working– No Task Sequences Available

    ITNinjaGuy
    By ITNinjaGuy,
Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone out there can assist. Sorry for the length post but my aim is to provide as much information as possible to eliminate any of the common gotchas. ConfigMgr is 1702 with latest Hotfix I've spent the better part of two weeks trying to figure out why OSD has all of a suddenly stopped working. It seems to have happened around the same we upgraded our last DC from server 2012 to 2016 (swing migration) and raised the domain fictional level from 2012 to 2016. Fr

    page_fault_in_nonpaged_area during OSD - Windows 10

    chuiting
    By chuiting,
We are running into an issue with some brand new laptops that they are stopping in the middle of the task sequence with the error Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area.  This happens at different times during the TS.  Sometimes it is right after the Domain Join step when it is Initializing the SCCM Client.  Sometimes it happens during the next step in our process, which is enabling .Net 3.5.  I tried moving some of the steps around the TS to isolate the issue, but it doesn't seem to be a certain step caus

Updating application based on a logical method

    xerxes2985
    By xerxes2985,
Good Afternoon all, I know there is some logic when updating the source files for an application that can differentiate installing onto a 32 bit system or a 64 bit system, and also that there are detection methods to determine if something is installed. What I would like to know (or if anyone has done this) is how you can appropriately use logic to determine which software to install. Here's the example scenario if I lost anyone: Computer A is 64-bit Windows 10 and has 32-bit installed

Trouble deploying updates to certain clients

    sysadmin_679
    By sysadmin_679,
I am currently working with a small environment with roughly 200 clients. I have 2 servers at 2 physical locations, the secondary server is only assigned the following roles: Site System, Management Point, Distribution Point, Component Server. I am trying to deploy software updates to one device collection in particular which contains 4 RDS Servers. The updates show up in software center on 1 out of 4 of these servers, however they do not on the other three. The configuration of t
