Hi,   I am running one single sccm server 5.0.8412.1000 and all of the log files have not updated since 31.08.2016. The system did crash then according to a crashdump folder but all seems to be working except pxe boot. I dont even get an smspxe.log file in the logs folder. Where would be the best place to start troubleshooting without log files? I have of course restarted the server and reinstalled PXE on the DP but still the same no reply on tftp error.   The crash refers to a reg erro show

Having trouble finding this info. I'm designing a layout for an educational institution and have 2 primary ConfMgr servers on separate AD forests under a CAS, one to manage Staff/Admin and the other to manage student computers. As there will of course be both staff and student devices at each campus, can I use one distribution point for both primary servers or do I need to build 2 DP's? Thanks.

I just installed 1610 on our lone SCCM server. Added the duplicate hardware identifiers features and added our 3 USB NICs to the whitelist. My problem now is that I cant get PXE boot to get going for any of my USB NICs. PXE boot aborts as if the device is still in SCCM (I went through and deleted the devices associates with the MAC address of the 3 USB NICs). When I check the smspxe log, I see that it reports that the device is in the database, and that no advertisements were found. Am I missing

Hello,   i look for a step by step post which shows up a lab on hyper-v 2016 on server 2016. A hyper-v 2012 R2 should be the AD A hyper-v 2012 R2 should be the SCCM (SCCM 1606 with SQL Server 2016)   As far i can see i could use the Guide: https://www.windows-noob.com/forums/topic/13285-how-can-i-install-system-center-configuration-manager-and-endpoint-protection-technical-preview-4/   Can i use it?   Is there another newer guide which i should use.     Greatings from Germany

Hi.   I have a strange behavior in my SCCM environment. Actually the SCCM 1606 is installed and fully patched. Until a few weeks ago it was working with no problem at all. I have been distributing windows 10 successfully. I need to reinstall the OS in one machine through PXE. Everything works ok during the initial phases (The pc boot from WDS, the image is downloaded to the pc, the HD is partitioned and the OS is installed). After upgrading to SCCM 1610, systems which have automatically upgraded the configuration manager client to version 5.00.8458.1005 are unable to perform Windows Update. In Software Center they are stuck at "Downloading (0% complete)". Systems with older versions of the client (e.g. version 5.00.8412.1307, and possibly older client) have no problem downloading and installing the updates.   Any idea what might be the problem?
