Hi, anyone experienced with this upgrade? We attempted it earlier today, but it was unsuccesful - WSUS appeared to fail, and generic troubleshooting, iuncluding recreating the SUSDB didnt look to get the software update point going again.   Technet showed this as a supported upgrade (2012 to 2012R2) but im wondering if i missed something.   We have just the one machine running SCCM alongside WSUS   Any advice on this process?

Hi All,   I'm trying to deploy Server 2016 via SCCM 1606 OSD. I've got the TS all built and I can successfully deploy to a hyper-v guest image, however, when I try deploying to a VMware guest, it fails at the Setup WIndows and Configuration Manager step. So it gets through the Apply steps (Apply OS, Apply Device Drivers, Apply Windows SEttings, Apply Network Settings), is joined to the domain, etc... It then reboots, the console goes black for a little while, and then i get the login prompt

My TS were working and for some reason they stopped.   They stop (just stays there waiting for the day that never comes).   Funny thin is if i restart the server the TS continues.   TS Stops at Applly Device Drivers  Any idea what may be causing it ?   No errors are shown in the logs.   Thank you.

Hi   Has anyone had any success in deploying Windows 10 Update 1607 to a Windows 10 machine with 1511 and encryption enabled (in our environment we run Check Point Full Disk Encryption). I've started to notice that after an OSD completes, there is a folder C:\_SMSTaskSequence that is left over, containing packages that were applied during OSD, totaling anywhere from 5-10gb.   I started with the SMSTS.log file and found a few errors right near the end of the TS.     The 0x87D01012 errors lead me to a few articles about using the "Retry" option in the Install Software Updates task. If I take a machine from the office to home, the Configuration Manager does show Internet. We have a management point on the DMZ that the machine connects to get a list of updates. It looks like the workstation is making communication with that server based on the logs. What is not happening is the actual successful download of the patches and the installation of them.   I read that the internet client should go to Microsoft updates first and then to a dp?
