    Windows updates failure

    rob343
    By rob343,
Hi all, I am seeing the following error in my WUAhandler log.   wuahandler.logOnSearchComplete - Failed to end search job. Error = 0x80240438 But I only see this off network (not on VPN) connected to the CMG.  Soon as we vpn it corrects itself. Also this isn't all our devices. Love some suggestions on a fix Thanks  Rob

    Filip00011
    By Filip00011,
I am trying to make a collection that gives me the computers with an office 2019 pro plus , but without the computers that already have an upgrade to office 365. This query doesn't give the correct result:   select distinct SMS_R_System.ResourceId, SMS_R_System.ResourceType, SMS_R_System.Name, SMS_R_System.SMSUniqueIdentifier, SMS_R_System.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup, SMS_R_System.Client from  SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS on SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRA

Source Hierarchy Migration to new domain.

    ranjb
    By ranjb,
Hi Sorry this is a duplicate post as I mistakenly posted in the CM2012 forum.  I am currently doing a source hierarchy migration from 2002CB to 2002Cb in 1 forest trust with 2 domains. I done in a way so that the new site server mirrors the old one as much as possible. Apart from the server OS which is 2016 as opposed to 2012 in the old environment. What I am trying to achieve is a solution which isn’t going to cause too much downtime for the client as they have 3000 devices to se

    Intune Autopilot

    By jkjk12,
Mr. Anyweb, you are a knowledgeable man, I have an issue with Intune that Microsoft will not help me with.  I am an individual, not a company so their support said they can't help me.   I guess paying $29 per month does not cut it ?   I have VMWorkstation setup and within VMWorkstation I have stood up AD, SCCM, SQL, DHCP, DNS etc....    I setup an Azure subscription for $29 per month. I have integrated Intune with SCCM. I can log into portal.azure.com and I can see the Users and

Automatic Deployment Rule and Expire and Superseded updates

    LeonTheron
    By LeonTheron,
I have 2 questions regarding Automatic Deployment Rule and Expire and Superseded updates On the attachment I've included the package created by my ADR - the package gets updated every few hours I am trying to understand 1. Why are expired and superseded updates still required? 2. Should the rule or WSUS Cleanup remove these updates, or should I do it manually The size for this package is about 2.5gb

OSD Deployment - PXE failing, Boot Media works

    Johnny_Eyebrows
    By Johnny_Eyebrows,
Hi folks - I'm hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. Last Tuesday, our OSD process hit a snag. Any attempts to image via PXE result in the message 'There are no task sequences available for this computer.' However, when using a usb boot media source, it all works fine. The OSD sequence is targeted at the 'All Unknown Computers' collection, and is set to 'Available', as it has been for 4 years now ☹️ The only change or event that occurred was that the primary se
