    Device collection unavailable for deployment

    fj40ratt
    By fj40ratt,
I seem to be running into this more often as of late.  I've created a basic OSD task sequence but when I attempt to deploy it the collection I wish to direct it to, it does not appear in my list.  I know it is there because I have deployed other OSD task sequences to the same collection previously without issue and I can see the collection.  I also run into this when I create a new device collection and try to deploy an existing TS to it.  Thoughts?  Thanks.

    Device name mix up?

    By jdensmore,
Hello everyone I hope you are well.... I need some help on an issue that has been plaguing me!  In my device list I see some devices that do not have a client installed. So I'm going through trying to figure out why, and I started to notice something odd. A few of these devices have mixed up information. For example, in my device list I have a device named LAP0677 and the "Currently logged in user" is oxl.user (Who has never logged onto this computer before). When I examine the properties of thi

Hi All ! I am struggeling with the following topic since a few days: I am not able to install applications during my Build and capture sequence. I have a PKI (HTTPS-only) infrastructure.  I installed a client certificate during the unattend.xml. Have you got an idea what I can do to fix this ?  It

Device won't join the domain during OSD TS

    By fj40ratt,
Good morning SCCM brains.  Here is one that has me about ready to trade mine in for a beer.  Last week our AD admin changed the password for the account that does our AD joins during task sequence image deployments.  I have entered the new password in the TS, verified it's access to the OU in AD successfully, and can use the new password to manually join a device to the domain without issue.  Unfortunately when the TS now runs the device fails to join the domain.  I've looked in the netsetup.log

Remove Computer From AD during OSD via SCCM 1806

Hello Champions,   We have a up-to-date running Task sequence to build new devices via SCCM. Currently the TS fails to add the device to domain if the ComputerName already exists in the AD. Is there a way the ComputerName can be searched before the device is added to the domain.   Thanks for your help.

powershell show Software Center notification with snooze

    By lalajee,
I'm doing a feature update from 1809 to 1909 but it's breaking the search bar so the fix is to apply a patch which I'm doing during a postoob My cmd file installs the patch and then runs a PowerShell script which checks for the reboot is required and also logs other information into a log file.   Is it possible to tell the SCCM client a reboot is required so SCCM client can handle the restart as in show message to user that reboot is required same as any other update?
