IIS status unknown - MP not working | Migrate to a new server

    Mishuri
    By Mishuri,
Hey, we crashed our SCCM with a backup and cant get it back to working.. Our Management point isnt working and got a 'error' Status and the IIS status is 'unknown' (https://imgur.com/a/1CGH8Ji). When we try to access "https://hostname/sms_mp/.sms_aut?MPcert" we get '403 Forbidded...'. Because of that we want to migrate to WIndows Server 2016 - how can we migrate the data (deployment tasks, configuration..) to the new server? Is it possible to add the new server to the site, get all ser

    OSD Multicast 0x800070002

    By day79,
Running version ConfigMgr 5.00.8634.1000 build 8634 and trying to test multicast on the same VLAN, but the task sequence fails with error code 0x800070002.  It worked about 6 months back., but haven't checked it since and we've upgraded version since then.  Checked the Operating System Image to make sure that Multicast is enabled, checked the Network Access Account is set, checked the DP multicast settings, and checked the TS for downloading content.  See screenshots below.  I'm probably missing

I will be focusing on one machine so we see the issue in depth. Controlling task sequence variables in Standalone Media

    Lagamorph
    By Lagamorph,
Hi all, So I'm possibly looking to do the impossible here but thought I would ask the question. At the moment my standalone media prompts with a UDI wizard to complete details such as hostname, OU and security policies, but I'm currently working on a Powershell script to automate Offline/Standalone SCCM builds of physical servers which aren't able to connect back to the SCCM infrastructure, but where the iLO can be reached remotely. This script will prompt a user to input details such as

adding deployment type with global condition to a application fails with the between using powershell

    wedaniel
    By wedaniel,
I'm in the process of automating reader so that it downloads and creates the application in SCCM We use a global condition to get the version of reader out of the registry. I have two deployment types,  One installs the full reader and the second just installs the patch. On the second deployment type we use the requirement Between operand with the values of "17.011.130000" "17.011.130080"   that way it will only install the patch  it fails on the between operand.   If I use g

Problems running MBR2GPT in SCCM OS upgrade task sequence

    chooch77
    By chooch77,
I'm attempting to perform an in place upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 1803 using an SCCM OS upgrade task sequence. In the task sequence, after the OS is upgraded to windows 10 , I have a step to convert the disk to GPT, but it fails with the error "cannot find room for the EFI system partition". I have tried to run MBR2GPT in the task sequence from WINPE and full OS, but still get the same error. The odd thing is, if I am logged on to the machine and run MBR2GPT from a command prompt, the c

OSD Task Sequence decides to take a break

    Embalmed
    By Embalmed,
Hello, I've been dealing with a problem that I have considerable trouble searching for. My Windows 10 task sequence will just pause, and hang for approximately 50 minutes. It will be during package installations, downloads will be clean, they will start and then go dormant. The time usually is about 50 minutes in duration, and I initially thought it was a specific package. When I moved it to a different position in order, the issue moved to another install. So far I have only seen this
