  1. Actually, I found out what my issue was by just combing thru the CCMEXEC.log. I had this entry: [CCMHTTP] HTTP ERROR: URL=http://<SERVERNAME>/ccm_system/request, Port=80, Protocol=http, SSLOptions=0, Code=12007, Text=ERROR_WINHTTP_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED I doublechecked the host name of the server and it was incorrect. Populated the correct host name in in the secondary site settings and restarted the SMS Agent host on the client and VIOLA! everything started to work correctly! Thanks guys for "indirectly" pointing me to the logs files!
  2. Hi Neilb, I have tried your suggestion to no avail. I have all the exact same errors in my log files: LocationServices: Failed to reset certificate request times. (0x80041002) CcmExec: Endpoint'PolicyAgent_PolicyEvaluator' return 0x80070057 from event notification PolicyEvaluator: Failed to trigger Machine settings update (80070057) SrcUpdateMgr: Instance of CCM_SourceUpdateClientConfig doesn't exist in WMI I was thinking that this was a boundary issue. But not sure where to check. Only two actions are availble in ConfigMGR.
  3. Hi All, I have this weird issue (made it is not so weird-just not looking at the right place). I tested the deployment of the Client installation to about 100 systems (I uses the Client method, and then turned it off), after my test was complete, I decided to uninstall 50 clients and then delete from database, and then a rediscover. Now when I refresh the All System collection, it states I have about 80 systems with the client installed. No obsolete records. I doublechecked the CCM.log file on the server and no clients installed since my test. I also doublecheck the corresponding inboxes for Client install (CCR.box and CCRRETRY.box, etc) and no files were stuck in there as pending. So I could say that the client push installation is not running at the moment.... But I just want to make sure, how do you check to see which system was added to the collection that reported as Client Installed? NOTE-I created a dynamic collection called (Client installed) to detect if a system has the client installed and adds to that collection, but I notice that its growing. This shouldn't happen if I disabled Client push right? I would just like some clarification on what is actually going: Is the client just not successfully installled or are there new systems that are installing the client--if its the latter, how would I stop this? thanks in advanced for any input.
