hello, I am having the same issue, I have tried all the steps computer name is also added to the local administrators but no success. I am unable to reach the SQL server with its Virtual Name \\SQLV1.domain.com\C$ but I can access the share with SQL server physical host name \\SQL01.domain.com\C$ what is the issue why SCCM is always trying to connect to "SMS Site Component Manager could not access site system \\SQLV1.domain.com. The operating system reported error 2147942405: Access is denied." any suggestion ? I am using SCCM 2012 SP1 and SQL 2012 SP1. my SQL is working under the clustered environment. Regards Owais

actually their are some advertisement still available, but their are some of the advertisements which have been expired due to long running of these download windows kept popping up but did not downloaded. after some testing i have turned the firewall to OFF State. i have rule for Software Update Point in Outbound Policy, the ports are configured 8530, 8531, 80, 443 as allowed TCP. please suggest, i am quite new to SCCM. Hi, i am facing some issue with my clients, many of my clients see the screen of software updates installation in progress but it shows downloading for days and do not download any thing, the screenshot is attached (SCCMUpdateIssue.JPG). how to resolve this issue ? Regards Owais
