Hola first thanks for all of the great guides! What I am trying to accomplish is the following:\ i want user input for the computername before it is joined to the domain. I read the posts about OSD++ but i want to add the first 8 chacters of the MAC Address ( minis all of the :'s) to the machine name so it looks somthing like this: XXX-12345678 i am not quite a total N00B and am just barely out of sight of totally lost. so i throw myself atr your mercy to help with this issue. a VBS script would work in conjunction with OSD++ any advice would be helpful, and as my dictionary is broken aswell, please forgive the spelling
