  1. Hi Guys, I have just recieved a complaint from a helpdesk memebr that they cannot copy and paste text from his machine to the users machine through remote assistant, Is there a option for this somewhere? I cannot see one. Thanks Anthony
  2. Have you checked the log file on the clinet machine? execmgr.log? It should tell you what is going on. Use smstrace to view the log
  3. Ok awesome, So is this roughly what I would do to install the PDP site? -Set up the new server overseas -Install the PDP role onto the new server from the primary site -distribute all files and settings from primary DP to the new PDP -create a new boundary for the overseas office (slow or unreliable network) -Point the new PDP Site to look at the new boundary Does this sound right? please correct me if I am wrong And can I pxe boot to this new PDP site? or would the request still need to go to the primary site? (I would prefer the request to go to the new PDP site if possible due to latency, if it cant I dont think this would work for us)
  4. Hi Guys, I am hoping someone on here can give me abit more info regarding the project I am about to undertake. Basically We have a SCCM 2007 r2 primary site set up within our Main HQ's. We have a office based in another country. Currently there is no process for automated builds for this office. I have been task to go to this country and set up a secondary sccm server to link back to our main primary site. In brief my current plans are to install a secondary child site and transfer all the settings from the primary site etc... Would this work for what I want? Thanks Mac

    Removing PSP role

intially by the share! I know bad move! Is there still a way to remove it from them? thanks
  6. Hi Guys, I am having some bad problems with our SCCM R2 server. Which started with WDS not starting. After going through the logs I have decided to remove both roles, WDS and PSP. WDS I can remove ok. PSP, not as easy. It is giving me "this pxe service point contains packages. remove all packages from the pxe service point before removing the pxe service point role from this server" error message. I have checked and doubled checked and I cannot see anything located within this share. Does anyone have any ideas? I have read about using sql, could anyone break down exactly what to do with that as I am not the best at SQL (at all).
