The discovery properties for several systems (with and without a client install) lists 'obsolete' data, namely the IP Subnets property. For example, I have a system whose IP is 10.143.75.214, and subnet of 10.143.75.0/24. The record, however still has an old subnet entry of 10.143.0.0 in addition to the correct one when i view its properties. I am worried that since i am using subnet boundaries for site assignment it may use the wrong entry and get improperly assigned, or worse sent to a DP across a slow link.
If i delete the system from the SCCM console and rediscover, the system comes back with only the correct entry. As you can imagine, this is not ideal going forward.
I am trying to figure out this property is populated and will the old entry eventually get updated/removed/obsoleted by some automated process within sccm so that only the valid subnet entry remains?
See attached picture for an example of a non-client AD discovered system which shows the old entry for the subnet.
Thanks
