  1. deactivated automated installation of updates and internal path for update server without any changes! We also have a GP set for the sccm site. Is it neccessary to assign a site code via a group policy? Could this setting cause problems? Is ist possible to verify that programs are available/accessable without using the management console? Even a after reinstalling a client (win7 using sccm and a captured image, the TS also installed programs after deploying the image), no advertisments are available on this client. OS deployment works fine but software distribution causes problems! regards, Jan
  2. Hello, We are running SCCM 2007 R2. We would like to deploy OS, Software and Windows Updates using SCCM and SUP running on the same server. Clients also have problems with getting progams and updates. Clients get advertisements but can't access/download program files! We removed our old sms (site 1) and wsus and deployed a new sccm 2007 r2 (site 2) with sup. I have already changed the group policies but there ist still a reference to the old server! execmgr.log CancelCheckContentAvailability, content not available for program KB977384 - Advanced Client Patch Install package SE200050 execmgr 13.01.2012 14:02:36 7820 (0x1E8C) Raising event: [sMS_CodePage(850), SMS_LocaleID(1031)] instance of SoftDistErrorNoContent { AdvertisementId = "SE2200C2"; ClientID = "GUID:7ECB8341-719E-4DBC-86F9-041F4C3900C0"; DateTime = "20120113130236.022000+000"; MachineName = "WIN7JS"; PackageName = "SE200050"; PackageVersion = "10"; ProcessID = 2760; ProgramName = "KB977384 - Advanced Client Patch Install"; SiteCode = "SE2"; ThreadID = 7820; Win32ErrorCode = 2147516932; }; execmgr 13.01.2012 14:02:36 7820 (0x1E8C) CcmExec.log: OutgoingMessage(Queue='lmp_[http]mp_locationmanager', ID={4B3F04F0-348C-4CAE-A486-7B9E468B15FE}): Will be discarded (expired).
