Yes, the advertisement exists; Yes, the collection exist; Yes, the machine exist in the collection; I will check the "execmgr.log" on the target (client) workstation.

I had to rebuild the Distribution Point and Task Sequence (to many chiefs in the soup, if you know what I mean). Anyway, I see the target computer and I am able to remote access it; however, nothing as far as Advertising or transferring information to the target computer. I used the target’s MAC address without the SMBIOS GUID, would that have anything to do with the problem? Would you happen to have a check list, to ensure I have everything configured correctly?

I am trying to attach a screen shot of the Software Distribution window, Status of Advertisement to Destination Computer. It simply states, Not Started I do not see any error, none given. Where would I begin to look?

I have recently installed SCCM 2007 Sp2 on a virtual MS 2008 server (VMware), using the instructions provided in the www.windows-noob.com forum. Unfortunately, I am unable to advertise the package to the target workstation. Are you able to assist or offer any suggestions?
