  1. I did enable SMS_DP_SMSPKG$ but that did not fix my issue.
  2. I am running into the issue and I only have 2 sites listed in IIS, Default Web Site and WSUS and both are set to Anonyoums Authentication. I even deleted the OS folders for the operating systems, and recreated them. Deleted and recreated the OS Installers and Task Sequences but it still gives me the error when applying the OS. I would appreciate any additional help with this. smsts.log
  3. The web certificate was created using the Windows 2003 settings. Obvisously the client installed in the MP and is being pushed out to the clients, but the logs are all the same with no installation.
  4. I am having a similar problem that I have been beating my head against the wal with for a few days now. The installer account was setup as a domain administrator and below is the ccmsetup log file. I keep getting a 401 error (permissions). I remove the domain admin from the account and reran the client push but then nothing happens. WebDav is configured correctly, the site is using SSL which according to documentation is setup correctly, not sure what to look for next. Any assistance would be appreciated. ==========[ ccmsetup started in process 10840 ]========== ccmsetup 7/9/2012 1:45:12 PM 8024 (0x1F58) CcmSetup version: 5.0.7711.0000 ccmsetup 7/9/2012 1:45:12 PM 8024 (0x1F58) Running on OS (6.1.7601). 5. I have an interesting issue. After I import the computer to do the Build and Capture, it does not show up in Build and Capture device group. It does show up under All System. I try to add it to the Build and Capture but never shows up. I have a laptop I also want to test with and it does not show up there either after trying to add it.. I figured I allow the system to run overnight to see if it changes but doesn't. I created three device groups to separate out Win7 machines, 2008 r2 servers and 2008 servers using a query. They took an overnight something to occur before they showed up in the device group even after countless Update Memberships and Refreshes. Any ideas why this is happening?
  6. I have read these posts trying to figure out why PXE cannot find the boot file. Sometimes it works, then if I make a change in the Task Sequence and Deploy again, PXE on the Virtual Machine just sits there until it times out. Anyone figure this out yet? I am running the RC version 5.0.7703.0
  7. I was trying to install it on a Remote SQL Server with the correct patches but I kept getting the failure notice. So I installed a local copy of SQL and it worked. I am running W2K8 R2 SP1.
  8. After being able to redo the PXE I ran into a few issues. I was unable to press the F8 key to copy the CMTrace program over during the installation. Upon completed and going to the My Devices section, the message I received stated: This setting cannot be configured because of a network communications or a configuration problem. Once the system completed the installation and I logged in, I copied the CMTrace program to the root of the C:\ drive. Browsing to the C:\Windows\CCM\Logs directory, there is no log titled AppEnforce.log. The first log is titled CAS.log Firefox is not installed either.
  9. DISREGARD THIS.
  10. In Part 9, I deployed the PXE on the second VM. Was stuck on the PXE not progressing to the F12 button. I went back thru all the steps in Part 9 and it finally worked. Readin Part 10, I went and deleted that VM from SCCM, redid the import to that Deploy Group, but am still getting just the PXE not progressing to the point that I can press F12. Any ideas?
  11. Is there a way to restore the Site System Roles that are listed at the bottom of Servers and Site System Roles section? I am missing the Distribution Point and even though I can create one, not sure of the steps to do so. Also, I do not see the Boot images (x64) & (x86) that you show in the boot images section of the Software library. Are these created when you add the OS?
  12. Ok so nobody has run into this? We all don't have time to wait days or weeks for a response.
  13. I am trying to install SCCM 2012 using a remote SQL Server 2008 R2 with all the updates. When I get to the Prerequisite Check section, I get Failed statuses for SQL. See Attachment. I have also successfully install Orchestrator using the Remote SQL Server using the SMSAdmin account. In addition to this, on the SQL Server Event Log the following Error keeps repeating: An exception occurred while enqueueing a message in the target queue. Error: 15404, State: 19. Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'DOMAIN\SMSadmin', error code 0x5. And an Information level has: The activated proc '[Microsoft.SystemCenter.Orchestrator.Maintenance].[MaintenanceWorker]' running on queue 'SCE2012_Orchestrator.Microsoft.SystemCenter.Orchestrator.Maintenance.MaintenanceServiceQueue' output the following: 'Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'DOMAIN\SMSadmin', error code 0x5.' One other failure that shows in the Event Viewer under Security: - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing [ Guid] {54849625-5478-4994-A5BA-3E3B0328C30D} EventID 4625 Version 0 Level 0 Task 12544 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x8010000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2012-02-13T21:31:59.649490500Z EventRecordID 35859135 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 500 [ ThreadID] 5824 Channel Security Computer SERVER.DOMAIN.com Security - EventData SubjectUserSid S-1-5-21-1757981266-1303643608-682003330-3649 SubjectUserName clinsqluser SubjectDomainName SERVER SubjectLogonId 0x97bc3 TargetUserSid S-1-0-0 TargetUserName TargetDomainName Status 0xc000006d FailureReason %%2313 SubStatus 0xc0000064 LogonType 3 LogonProcessName Authz AuthenticationPackageName Kerberos WorkstationName SERVER TransmittedServices - LmPackageName - KeyLength 0 ProcessId 0x338 ProcessName E:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe IpAddress - IpPort - These errors starting showing up after the installation. Not sure if these are related and have not found any answers on the web searches. One side note on the errors, is that I was able to successfully install SCCM 2012 if I have the SQL Server installed on the same machine as SCCM 2012 but got those errors (Clean installation was performed prior to re-installation). I wanted to separate the two systems and that is why I was trying the installation using the Remote Database. No firewalls are on, SMSAdmin is a domain account with local administrative access.
