If ADK 8.1 is not installed then WDS boots without problem and it loads the wimgapi.dll from the system32 folder but if ADK is installed then WDS fails to start because it loads the wimgapi.dll from the ADK but if you overwrite the wimgapi.dll from the system32 folder WDS also fails to start.

I have found out when not Boot Media is present in SCCM WDS will start but if you have a Boot Media in SCCM then it fails by loading the WIMGAPI.dll from the ADK 8.1.

I have also this error and WDS is not booting. Is there a fix for this Problem?

The HD should logon to the Web Protal and select the software package that the user want anf after assigning the software to a pc it should start automatically to install the software.

The Helpdesk should deploy the Software remotely to the PCs.

Hi, is there a possibility in SCCM 2012 to make the Web Portal Site available only for Admins and that they can deploy different Software to the Machines and not the Users? Regards hitman47

I have now captured an Image with the Drivers from Windows Update and this is working fine when I install the Image via SCCM and in the Task Sequence I don't apply any drivers.

I deployed it with SCCM 2012 SP1 and applied the drivers via TS or should I capture an Image with the drivers that applied with Windows Update?

I have attached a Picture of the error but it is written in german.

I installed my own Image to the Surface Pro but I get with the Drivers released yesterday an error in the Device Manager for the Surface Pro System Aggegator Firmware. The error is The Device cannt start (Code 10) Internal Error. Maybe someone has a fix for this?

Hi, I have read on the web that is possible to deploy Windows 8 with SCCM 2007 when the is self captured and Id id this and it works fine to deploy it via PXE. Then I wanted to reinstall the PC with my TS over Run Advertised and then it failed to rebbot in WinPE with the error 0x00000004. Is there any chance to fix this or is it only possible with SCCM 2012 SP1? Regards hitman47

Hi all, I found on the Web the Location Deployment Wizard from the Deployment Guys and I tried to set it up after there Guide. When I boot the WinPE.wim the Location Deployment Wizard appear before I start any Task Sequence and tries to Connect to the MDT Database but nothing happens then. I ggogle a lot but I didn't found a good tutorial that helps me. Maybe you can hel me. Thanks in Advance.
