  1. So after a bit of work, I found some issues with SRSS. It hadn't registered its ports correctly and I can only assume it had messed up some of the wildcards. It is working now, just need to test the workgroup based windows updates.
  2. I am experiencing the same, strangely it was all OK, then I was looking into the install updates issue I have posted another thread for and then this stopped working correctly. I have noticed that I get an "Unknown" computer and a named computer in All Systems. Also software deployment during the OSD is slow too, not just the SCCM client.
  3. Hi all, I have been banging my head against this issue for a few days now and have tried a few different things to get it to work. Basically when I am building and capturing a Windows 7 SP1 x86 image the install updates stage stalls and fails after 30minutes with the error 800705B4 – Timed out waiting for updates refresh complete notification. From the logs it appears it can see the 178 updates available to the collection but it never moves to the install stage. I have tried SMSMP= and changing settings on the updates deployment, etc. but nothing seems to get the task to work. In SCCM 2007 there is a lot of talk about SLP and if in a workgroup (as we are for the build) use HTTP roaming, etc. but nothing seems to point to that issue here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, BryCel
