  1. Sure, just make sure that they are NOT discovered. aka Adjust your discovery methods to remove them. No, these will not get fully deleted. However there sure be almost nothing within the cache directory.
  2. From c:\windows\ccmsetup, run ccmsetup.exe /uninstall on the server, then watch to log file for it to complete.
  3. Most of the time this is a boundaries issue. check that your boundaries are correct.
  4. This blog will get you started. What Sherry has posted in the end results of regkeytomof. So you can skip to the section that starts with "Now, let’s start with appending the text to the configuration.mof file."
  5. I would start by adding the HW inv MOF edit. Once you do that you can create a report. https://www.mnscug.org/blogs/sherry-kissinger/330-internet-explorer-version-information-via-hardware-inventory If you are looking for a book on CM reporting then there are at least two on amazon on the topic.
  6. How does this apply to the question above? what is broken?
  7. I don't understand, what does this have to do with client installs? Are you trying to start a new topic?
  8. I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are talking about.
  9. It is not recommend to use GPO sot assign CM sites. As it caused problems, when site code are not right or you need to re-assign a client. and yes even that.
  10. use your primary site code.
  11. No that is not right. Client don't report to a secondary site, they will always report to a primary site.
  12. if you forced a hardware refresh then then software is actually listed within ARP. Remove it from ARP and it will get removed from CM12.
  13. Try forcing a full inventory on the computer. https://www.enhansoft.com/?s=force
  14. #1. If you have a CAS then it mean that you have 150,000 computers. right?? If not you really need to re-look at your CMCB infrastructure. #2. IMO there is no need to completely duplicated you environment, it only need to represent it. Since you have 150,000 computers, 8 DP will not be enough unless you are us ACP. 8*4k = 24,000 computers. #3, Software updates along will take up a ton of space....
  15. #1, Get rid of the CAS, unless you will have 150,000 computers, you are begging for trouble. #2, 3TB of space will get used up quickly if you have 8 DPs. Why so many? #3, 64 GB of RAM is not enough for this setup. you need 12 GB for each CAS/Pri that is 60 GB alone for those servers.
  16. The computer that is causing the problems is listed within first screenshot.
  17. By default Domain Admin are NOT SQL admins and therefore this make perfect sense.
  18. So Here are a few questions: What version of SSRS are you using? Have you applied all the SP and CU to the SSRS server? Have you checked the Firewall between the two servers? I assume that SSRS is remote from CM Are you trying to install the RP on the SSRS server?
  19. yes that is correct.. No enough coffee. :-)
  20. First off, can you access the SSRS websites?
  21. No, you have use Reg2mof to collect HKCU. You only method to collect this data is to script it and store it someplace that CM can inventory it.
  22. A lot of time these hash errors are caused by WAN accelerators. So check withy your networking team.
  23. Since you are posting in two different places and you are NOT posting the exact same details to both forums AND you are doing different things between each forums. You must pick one forum to work on your problem and abandon the other forum post.
  24. Did you review the msi log as suggested in this log snitit? You can't just run the msi manually. it must by run by CM site server. Are you post this same question in two different forums?
  25. Have you review the RP setup logs? What about the srsrp.log?
