  1. 0x80070003 = The system cannot find the path specified. So does the source files exist for this package?
  2. Have you run your script/exe as the local system account? https://verbalprocessor.com/2007/12/05/running-a-cmd-prompt-as-local-system/
  3. If you are looking for a complete tutorial, then I would suggest that you either purchase one of the many CM12R2 books or take the CM12R2 Microsoft course.
  4. If you have done these things, Then it is time to call in a expert on SQL and your application to troubleshot things. There is nothing more that someone within the forums can do to help you.
  5. You haven't giving us anything to work with. What have you done to troubleshot this? Why do you say your server is slow? Have you review the application to see why it is filling up the disks? Is you SQL server sized right? Are you sure? Is the server a VM? Do you have dedicated physical disk for it? Have you looked at Prefmon?
  6. I moved this to the Scripting forum as this is really a PowerShell Question and not a CM12 Q.
  7. Based solely on what little data you can given. Upgrade you disk to faster disks.
  8. No CAS. Best practice is not to have a CAS until you have 150,000 computers. A CAS will NOT stop any "mistakes", in fact it will be more likely to allow "mistakes" to happen.
  9. you will need to check the docs for that question.
  10. Use exactly the same process for that upgrade too...
  11. There are not real tricks to this. Just run the Setup and tell it to upgrade your SQL instance.
  12. It should be more or less 5 minutes.. if it is taking an hour then it is likely your site server is overloaded.
  13. There are not such versions of SQL. Are you trying to upgrade from SQL 2012 for SQL 2014/2016?
  14. NAS are not supported and will not work.
  15. Your plan will not work the way you expect it to, it will cause a lot of headaches and will take DAYS, yes days, if not weeks to migrate everyone. The only supported HA method is to us clustered VMs, BUT I challenge you on your downtime needs. I have yet to find an org that requires CM to be up within 1 day, For that matter , 95% of all orgs can handle CM to be down to 7 days. Removing the political reasons, What technical reason is there to have CM up in under a day?
  16. I NEVER recommend using or enabling SW inventory.. Too many issues with it. Instead stick with the Hardware inventory reports, you clients will thank you. http://www.enhansoft.com/blog/slow-software-inventory-cycle-in-sccm-2012
  17. Just create a program/package with no source file. Then deploy it as any other package. Tip make sure that you DON'T sent it to your DPs. This will generate an error and hold up the deployment to your end clients.
  18. OK, I will bite, why do you think the results are wrong? Have you audited the results?
  19. Exactly what report are you looking at? Those problem sound like they are for SW inventory and NOT ARP. Try a report with ARP listed within the title.
  20. In your second query you will only find x86 versions. use v_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS to get both x86 and x64.
  21. Serial numbers are not listed within WIM class. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa394363(v=vs.85).aspx Also keep in mind that Printers are a user setting and not a computer setting.
  22. What are you Boundaries? IP Ranges, IP Subnet? AD Sites? Do you have fallback enabled for this deployment?
  23. Have you confirm that your cert can authenticate computers via WIFI?
