I hope that you find it useful. I hang out here so if you have questions, feel free to post them. But did you notice that within your query above you are missing the "0" for the column name, in all three places?
-
There is no trick to this, add each server as a RP. The RP can't share a database, each SSRS server MUST have it own db. RP will NOT know about each other. Report will only be consistent if YOU copy then across yourself. Again SSRS is NOT supported on a cluster.
-
You can clearly have two or more RP on any given site. SSRS is not support on a cluster. As for hardware NLB, the CM12 team will clearly not support this and never will. This does not mean it will not work, it means that you will have test this within your environment.

Query based collection based on IP subnet
GarthMJ replied to johnli's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
The IP address is a String and not a Number therefore the >= and <= will treat everything as a string. This will produce odd results. For this I would try to look at the gateway, instead of the IP address.. -
Why is it failing? How did you create the package/program? What error message are you getting?
-
Client will only download SU from the DP, they will never download from the SUP.

Error code: 0x8024400e = Same as SOAP_E_SERVER - The SOAP message could not be processed due to a server error; resend later. Source: Windows Update Agent So there is a problem with your server.

Have a read of this http://www.enhansoft.com/blog/slow-software-inventory-cycle-in-sccm-2012 and you have a nice day.
-
So that report use SW inventory, Which virtually no one recommend using as it is so useless. The statement was for all ARP reports, not all reports.
-
So it is unclear to me, did you look at the built-in reports and did you attempts to merge the two reports?

Restore ConfigMgr with Intune Hybrid
GarthMJ replied to conorofarrell's question in backup and restore
IDK, if I even have time I will try to restore one of my labs but I wouldn't hold my breathe that will happen anytime soon.. Honestly, if might make more sense for you to create a small lab with just 1-2 mobile devices (you can use VMs for this, if you like) and test it yourself. -
Find what Collections a computer is apart of?
GarthMJ replied to brink668's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
If you are looking to get better writing reports, first I will tell you to stop using Report Builder and use SQL Server Data tools (SSDT) or Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) instead. If you will be at MMS next week there are several presentation on writing reports. Lastly, if you are looking for a book on the subject then I would look at this one. :-) http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0672337789- 23 replies

If one report works they all will work. I always start with count reports. Count of all instances of software registered with Add or Remove Programs
-
Let me give you a piece of advice. Run and Print the report called Software registered in Add Remove Programs on a specific computer Now look at how many pages that report is for just one computer. Show this to whom ever is looking for this report. If they really want that then clone the report, remove the prompt and add the computer name.
-
The NAA is only use for SW distribution now else. SO SUP and RP don't come into play.
-
Did you look at the ARP reports or not? Have you confirmed that the data is collected or not? and no the titles listed within AI node do not count.
-
Again the log clearly states. so..... ---> Mobile client on the target machine has the same version, and 'forced' flag is not turned on. Not processing this CCR
-
First TURN OFF software Inventory, it is useless! Secondly, use the ADD/ Remove Programs Reports. Third, you will get better support with a different user name.

Planning sites and hierarchy with more than 150 000 clients
GarthMJ replied to ZCaRZa's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
How many mobile phones will you be adding to the site? Honestly, for a site of the size, you really should look at hiring a senior consultant to help you.- 4 replies
