  1. How would putting all the sources files as part of the package make any difference to you (other than making your life easier)? Your VBS above is only coping a single file? Even if you adjusted it to copy 15 different files based on VPN version, that wouldn't be a big deal at all.
  2. Does this server host any other websites? How exactly did you setup SSRS? Post a screenshot of the Webserive URL and Report Manger URL nodes within the Reporting Service Configuration Manager.
  3. FYI I never recommend enabling SW inv. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/10/03/Slow-Software-Inventory-Cycle-in-SCCM-2012.aspx
  4. Stupid question but why not include the files within the package? Why copy them form a network share? It will be far simpler to do this and try to copy them from a network share.
  5. This is going to be a problem with how SSRS was setup. It looks like you have enabled it to only work with HTTPS. Is this the case? Did you solve this problem?
  6. Use the command: wuauclt /detectnow to force WUA to scan for SU.
  7. It is just a license, so sure you can "claim" the license ex post facto. It is an automatic right for everyone that run any system center product gets.
  8. You will never find anything definitive for CM12 but the issue will all be related to the OS. But if you run the OS drive out of space which can be easy to do with CM12, the whole server will stop working. CM12 and the OS will be trying to use the same IOPS for things like the swap file, accessing the OS DLLs, and CM12 for the inboxes and SQL. IMO 150 GB of disk is not a lot of space and is begging for trouble.
  9. It is not best practice to install CM12 on the OS drive. No it can’t not be moved, ever with a backup and restore. You MUST reinstall in order to move it. You can’t promote a secondary site to a Primary site.
  10. So there can be a couple or reason for this. 1. Force WUA to preform a full scan again and therefore it will provide CM12 with and updated list of SU that are installed and required. 2. You are comparing apples to oranges with respects to which SU should be already been applied. You would be surprised how often this happens. Particularly with Net / office updates.
  11. Yes, you should be changing it within the reporting services point properties.
  12. What exactly do you want to change? Why can't you change it within CM12?
  13. Ok did you know that CM12 comes with it own license for SQL Standard, but it can only be used for CM12 and directly related tasks like WSUS.
  14. So you know that it is best practice to keep SQL local to CM12. Why would you want to move it to a remote SQL server? Moving it will add a ton of headaches.
  15. You are not wrong but I was just clarifying things.
  16. It will be updated based on what every you have setup for your heartbeat discovery.
  17. But why? Exactly what problem are you trying to solve? how does disabling MSE help you? How is this post different that your other post? http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/11509-preventing-the-microsoft-antimalware-service-to-start-automatically/
  18. Why do you want to do this? What problem are you trying to solve?
  19. This query will find all x86 version of Adobe Acrobat and it use HW inventory to return the data. The report you are looking at use AI data. So you are comparing apples to oranges.
  20. Nothing like that exist. The query that you ran, what is it? All of the AI data will be returned via HW Inv. you can troubleshoot, HW inv using this blog. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/07/25/Troubleshooting-Inventory-Flow.aspx
  21. Direct Access is your best bet to solve this problem.
  22. And BTW this blog can help you install CMTrace on all computers. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2014/06/19/Using-SCCM-2012-Application-Model-to-Install-CMTrace-File-Version.aspx
  23. BTW if you are CM12 you shouldn't be using Tracer32. Instead you should be using CMTrace, which is on your site server already.
  24. Why don't you just download it directly from MS site? This way you are sure that it is virus free.
  25. No there is no way to solve that. Disk space is cheap so this is not generally a problem.
