  1. The method that you describe above to restore your CM!2 site is NOT supported (at least not as described). I would review the Docs on how to restore your site using just a SQL db. From there preform the missing steps required to restore your site. With any luck it will allow you to get back just about everything.
  2. So why is it impossible to advertise? This should go without any problems.
  3. Happy New year to everyone. Did you make any New year Resolutions?
  4. This report will get you started. http://smsug.ca/blogs/garth_jones/archive/2008/03/28/adding-user-s-ou-to-query.aspx
  5. If reports work at all then it is not a problem with reporting. It is going to be a problem with your MP or something else. Check the health of you MP.
  6. This is exactly what I do! If they can't be bothered to do it when it is better for them, then how can I be blamed for it.
  7. If the problem is the temp db, then issue is likely that someone is running a poorly written query that is filling it up. You can fix it bad capping the temp DB size but that will make the query stop working too. Once you figure out what is filling up all the space you and work on how to fix it.
  8. And Where is your Temp db? Have you looked to see what exactly is eating up all the space?
  9. I assume your "no" it is my first question, if so when how are they different? and what about my other question like Disk IO and Memory? What about SQL and RAM?
  10. So No CAS, right? Does all three primary site behave the same way? Are all 3 primary servers exactly the same with CM12 R2? Is your C:\ running out of space? Is SQL consuming all the RAM? What is you Disk IO like? What is Memory like? aka are you paging a lot?
  11. What do you mean 3 different sites? 1 Primary and 2 secondary sites? 3 primary sites? 1 CAS - 2 Primary sites? (Why would you have a CAS??? Do you have over 100K of PCs?)
  12. If off I never recommend that you access the reports via the console. Too much over head. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/09/10/Should-Configuration-Manager-SSRS-or-ASP-Reports-be-Accessed-from-the-Browser-or-the-Console.aspx It sound like you have a permission problem and honestly I wouldn't worry to much about it, unless you have too. Why do you care about accessing the reports via the console?
  13. This would have to be a very custom script to do this and there is no simple way to do this. Honestly why would you care about who the owner is of each exe? Most, if not all exe will be owned by Local System, particularly if the exe are installed using an MSI. What is you end goal?
  14. I would re-install your reporting point.
  15. It happens, the only solution is to force a full inventory. BTW I strongly recommend changing your SW to 14 days. My laptop with and SSD take ~4 hour to run and I’m not inventorying much. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/10/03/Slow-Software-Inventory-Cycle-in-SCCM-2012.aspx
  16. The easiest way to fix this is to force a full hardware scan of the affected PCs. I recommend set HW in to daily. I also recommend turning OFF SW inventory or at least making it every 14 days. IMO it has little value.
  17. I asked about the web interface not query designer. Did you also enable the remote errors, as per the blog?
  18. Query or Reports. They are completely different. Query = Collections = WQL; Reports = SSRS = SQL This will help you will a report. http://smsug.ca/blogs/garth_jones/archive/2012/03/11/link-to-name.aspx
  19. There are several options. HTLM page and embedded the Report. Setup a file subscription http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/08/27/How-to-Set-up-a-Windows-File-Share-Subscription.aspx
  20. Does this report work in the Web SSRS interface? Also see this blog post to enable remote error reporting. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/01/16/Enabling-Remote-Errors-in-SQL.aspx
  21. Have you enabled all of the AI classes to be inventoried?
  22. Hardware inventory will be what updated this info. Set your HW inv to daily.
  23. Keep in mind that query will only find x86 version of Office 365. You need to add the x64 class too if you want both x86 and x64.
  24. Enable the win32_printer class within hardware inventory to get local printer.
