Then it means there is no data in the Reg keys. Confirm that there is data within the reg keys.

There is no need to compile the configuration.mof on the clients, it will happened automatically. The SQL views will be called something like v_GS_PrinterInv and v_GS_PrinterInv64

Multiple SCCM Client Installation Settings
GarthMJ replied to arr0ww's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
Look at the Client Installation Properties within the docs to see if there is a command lien switch for this. How can you auto-install the CM client when the PC is deep freeze? -
@tmccomb45 There is a lot more to it than the blog post that you posted. It is complete not supported to rename the domain/forest that CM lives in. You will need to completely re-build the site.

You can do this as a report just not within the console. So.... Personally I deploy everything to everyone. Feel free to submit the idea to the Microsoft connect site. Make sure that you post a link back here so that other can vote it up.

Advice needed for BITS rates of custom client settings
GarthMJ replied to JuhaK's question in How do I ?
I have no idea how many kbps it is , I’m sure that you search Bing for the answer but… If you can get 50-70% of the network during business hours it means that that line is almost not used at all. Are you sure that you can get that much of the line during business hours? I would think that you would be lucky to get 10% during business hours. -
No you can't do this within CM12 either.
-
Sorry there is not way to do what you want to do. You will have to do it manually like you have suggested.

how to setup Windows Update Failure alert
GarthMJ replied to manam.pervez1's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
Wouldn't it be easier to just review the built-in Software Update reports on a daily bases and action those? -
Advice needed for BITS rates of custom client settings
GarthMJ replied to JuhaK's question in How do I ?
There is no easy answer to this. On the 1M line, how much room is there? How much will the network team allow you to take? Are you using Windows 7? Have you look at branchcache? -
Configure Maintenance Window
GarthMJ replied to Kevin79's question in Deploy software, applications and drivers
Mixing up CM07 and CM12. J there is no count down timer in CM12. So you MW is a bit short and or your application install time is a bit long. If you advertising it for 1:15 every day you are only allowing a 1:15 am + 90 minutes for reboot + 120 minutes for application = 4:45am. If the Advert randomization is enabled (in client setting), very few of your client will be able to run it during the MW. The randomization windows is 2 hours. So…. I recommend that you do the following: Change your advert to 1 am Change the application run time to 15 minutes. Turn off Randomization but understand what does might do to your environment. (Don’t do this if you have any VDIs) This should mean that you are done by 2:45 am. If you leave the Random on then it will take you to 4:45 am. -
No you can't do that. You need to use CM07 to manager updates, if you want to use them in a OSD.

Configure Maintenance Window
GarthMJ replied to Kevin79's question in Deploy software, applications and drivers
For the program, how long did you say it would take to run? What is your count down timer set to? What is your reboot timer set to? Have you reviewed the log file on a workstation to find out why it hasn't run? -
From a CM12 perspective, it uninstalled correctly. You can see this by the exit code of 0. I would connect the vendor and get them to help you with this issue.

Only .exe gets distributed to the dp
GarthMJ replied to Morpheus's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
No there is no hotfix for this. You need to edit the config file to adjust the file types. Personally I remove all of them including all directories too. -
How to find the Software uninstallation using SCCM DB
GarthMJ replied to Jameer's question in How do I ?
ARP data does not traditionally have history views in CM07 or CM12, due to the sheer volume of data that would exist in them. v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS will only show you x86 software. Use v_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS instead for bet both. The installed Software view doesn't list all software on a PC. So you will need to query all software for all PCs each time and create your own history. -
