  1. I have my applications on a NAS and rather than host the applications on a DP, I want to have the ability to run directly from the source folder. The only way around this that I can see is to put a installer script on the DP which then would call the actual application from the NAS server. If I already have my software library on a NAS, why do I need to duplicate the content on my DP's? It would seem to make sense to allow an application to be ran / downloaded directly from a NAS. I understand remote locations are another story but I'm only talking locally in-house.
  2. OMG I just found the answers thanks to this link. I was hiding the bottom half of the screen, not realizing that's the portion I needed to see to manage everything. I saw somewhere about some right click tools for SCCM 2012. I would love to have the right click options to manage the deployments and applications in addition to the new way SCCM 2012 handles them. Is this possible?
  3. Ok, I also need to understand how to edit the applications inside a package. I want to rename one of the fields for one of the applications in my package and I don't have any option to edit the application. Please advise!
  4. Ok, I must be missing a really basic thing here but... I created a package for an application (exe) and deployed it to a collection. However, I need to modify the 'advertisement' but I can't. I went into Monitoring under deployments and I can see my advertisement there, I can't edit it nor can I delete it. Why not? What do I need to do? I looked at the package but I don't have an option to modify the deployment. I don't want to delete the entire package just to re-create it. If it matters, the deployment hasn't been deployed since it's failing due to a software policy issue. It seems I checked the option to use a mapped drive & the option to download from a DP which is a no go. But I should still be able to modify the deployment, right? Thanks for all the help.
