  2. Interesting about using SCCM consol I must of missed this is there any documentation on it? And thanks for the suggestions I will try monday morning
  3. Title is wrong but I could not edit it I have had SCCM 2012 deploying images really well on a couple of my site machines and also got office 2010 deploying too. But I have bought some Dell Optiplex 390's and they wouldn't boot. So I downloaded the Dell WinPE drivers and added them into a WinPE boot image from the WAIK using DSIM. I then added this boot image to SCCM and distributed it and all seemed fine. I copied my windows 7 task sequence and then renamed it and changed the boot image to my new WinPE image, and deployed the task sequence to all unknown machines. Now machines are getting the F12 boot prompt and then go to Download WDSNBP .............Pending request 221 .......contacting server 10.0.48.1 but I just don't get any further and this is now happening to all my machines? Any clues as to what I could done to break sccm
  4. Hi I think you would have probably been starting your own thread. However I would start by looking at you smsts.log that should give you some guidance.
  5. That didn't work but removing the wds role the DP and the associated folders then re-installing did
  6. When you say wait how long do I have to wait and will that fix it completely?
  7. Hi I have a sccm 2012 install that was working fine running on a virtual machine. Then the SAN failed and had to be completely replaced however I managed to get all the data off the SAN. I have the new SAN up and running and I have re-imported the virtual machines successfully The sccm machine however had a D drive that was a virtual drive on the SAN as a consequence I lost all shares. so I have uninstalled the distribution point and WDS and re-installed. This is giving me problems PXE booting first off I was getting PXE-T04, and now I am getting PXE-E55. Any suggestions on a way forward would be great, or do I uninstall and re-install and if that is the case how? and is it possible to back up the setting to speed up the re-install. Also when redistributing the boot images is stays "in progress" for hours.
