  1. we have another enterprise server that takes care of windows updates, the sccm is mostly for workstations deployment, software deployment and power savings.
  2. Anyweb, sorry for the delay in responding, but i ended up rebuilding the system with server 2012, sql 2012 sp1, and brand new install of sccm 2012 sp1. the server had the '5.00.7711.0000 and i couldn't figure it out how to change that version. plus all the other issues with the DP.
  3. i didn't uninstall waik prior to installing ADK
  4. i have one stand alone primary server for sccm and it is my primary and unique site and also my DP.
  5. my DP is on my server with configuration manager 2012. I recently (2 days ago updated it to sp1)
  6. after installing sp1 on sccm 2012, updated DP , but it won't install the new client on workstation shows this error in the log" Client version '5.00.7804.1000' is not compatible with the site '111' version '5.00.7711.0000 so frustated
  7. stopping the sharing is working for me too. But i am seriously thinking about rebuilding my sccm with server 2012 . its too messed up.
  8. how did you do that. Just remove the dp role and then reinstall it?
  9. I am in the same boat. I don't have remote dp though :/
  10. it turned out that it did not allow me to access the distribution point. so the new client hasn't been installed. Can't access dp
  11. Today I upgraded my SCCM 2012 to SP1, it is running on server 2008 r2, however i wonder if that alone will fix the problem with the client check or what else do I need to do. already removed the infamous Microsoft patch KB2506143.
  12. i already got the update and my clients are failing the sccm client check. I guess i will just need to wait for sp1.
  13. it happenned to me. it turned out to be that the boot files got lost from some reason from remote install. check this link: http://msitpros.com/?p=55 basically all I had to do was to copy the files from RemoteInstallBoot into their respective folders at sccm folders. for x64 and x86.
  14. I also need an answer about this. Trying to configure SCCM 2012 power management.
  15. adding my network account to MANAGE ACCESS ACCOUNTS worked for me.
  16. YEEY i found the solution finally in this site I needed to add my network account to Manage Access Accounts.!! unbelievable in how many places i have to add my administrator account!! well thanks for prompt response and i might have more questions!
  17. Hi guys i have been following this thread and it had helped me a lot. However i am still stuck in building and capturing an image. The task sequence fails with an error 0x800700002. looking at the client i noticed that it has created the partition C: and created the folder where it downloads the contents for the ts. but the folder for the package 111000A (that is the instalation package id) its empty. so it seems that it is failing in authentication or can't find the program files in the distribution point. HEEELLLLPPPP
