First of all, can I say thanks for a great set of guides - without these I wouldn' have got as far as I have, these really are an invaluable resource!
Secondly, I come cap in hand, in the hope that you might be able to point me in the right location.
I have 2 problems, the first and most important is the seeming inability to create "custom", hybrid images. I would like to be able to deploy an image, modify it, and then capture it for redeployment, as was possible with MDT. I have linked MDT and SCCM, and can perform MDT tasks, but there is no "sysprep and capture" or capture task. I have tried creating a task manually, with "prep configMgr", "Prep Windows" and "Capture OS", but this doesn't work. Please, can you point me as to what I should be doing? I have read a number of posts that recommend using MDT for the capture process (the ability to cusomise the default profile, etc), but I just can't seem to get it to click as to how to do this. I am using SCCM with PXE.
The other problem pertains to the UDI task sequence. I have specified the network path for USMT in the UDI_Wizard, but the dropdown is still unpopulated. What am I doing wrong? In all honesty, I would rather not have that pass there, is it OK to remove it? I have checked in my TS, and it the UDI wizard stage points to cscript.exe "%DeployRoot%\Scripts\UDIWizard.wsf"...
I would be grateful of any help, as SCCM is slowly beginning to make me doubt my own abilities.
