  1. First of all I appreciate you both taking the time to reply to my question. It’s good to know this is possible. Jorgen, Thank you sir however I have a one track mind and I would like to see my original "vision" through. Simply to drop a machine into an AD group and let it run. I have search extensively for a step by step "How to" which is what brought to this site and the many great guides that it has. Unfortunately I haven’t found just the right guide for what I’m trying to do. TB
  2. Hello, First an introduction; I'm not new to the IT world but I am a true noob to SCCM in any form (or SMS for that matter). I have had experience with CA's SD but that is a different world . We have SCCM 2012 Version 5.0.7711.0 My company has training and workshops scheduled for me but of course I cant wait hence my question. First question: I have perused a lot of guides from Mr. Anyweb (heretofore to be referred to as AW) but I find nothing on the following scenario: I would like to create on AD Sec group, lets say "New Laptops", and have it so that any machine name I drop in there will get all of the applications it was predetermined to need. Right now I have 10-15 sec groups and the adverts are working well, however when I build a new PC I have to add it to 10-15 groups to get everything it needs. Any guidence will be appreciated. TB
