  1. Hi Guys, Sorry for the delay. The part of our network with the SCCM machine had to be switched of yesterday for testing and tagging. So I fired off the Apply Image task sequence again today and watched the process too see where it was failing. I missed one of them as I got caught up with other jobs but the error message was 8000FFFF and the other one failed just after downloading the wim file and was at the "applying 2-2 to machine" with an 80070070 error.
  2. I have attached the smsts.log file. smsts-20130114-100822.log
  3. Hi Simo, I found this in the smsts.log Error getting system isolation info. Code 8027000C TSManager 11/01/2013 2:29:44 PM 2436 (0x0984) Remediation failed. Code 8027000C TSManager 11/01/2013 2:29:44 PM 2436 (0x0984) Remediation failed with error code 8027000C TSManager 11/01/2013 2:29:44 PM 2436 (0x0984) Task sequence failed due to an external shutdown request received during the TS running TSManager 11/01/2013 2:29:44 PM 2436 (0x0984) Task Sequence Manager could not initialize Task Sequence Engine. code 80004005 TSManager 11/01/2013 2:29:44 PM 2436 (0x0984) Task sequence execution failed with error code 80004005 TSManager 11/01/2013 2:29:44 PM 2436 (0x0984) The error I get is "the task sequence manager could not successfully complete execution of the task sequence" And it occurs before anything even happens on the client.
  4. Hi Guys, I have recently installed a new SCCM 2012 machine and setup my image, software and task sequences. However upon deploying the imaging sequence it, goes to in progress then the task sequence engine fails. I'm not too sure what is going on, nothing in the logs really stands out besides a few errors. I have tried googling around for a solution but could not find one, and now i'm losing hair over it . Any idea what might be the case? let me know if you need any more log files. Cheers, Kyle. 5. Sorry this took me so long to reply. Christmas break and a forgetful mind . I ended up just reinstalling from scratch as there was a lot of missing content that I couldn't really recreate. But reinstall was not a hassle as now that I know what i'm doing, I wa sable to get it back to where it was in roughly a day and a bit. Now i'm just having some issues pushing an image out but I suspect its the clients. Thanks for your replies.
  6. Hi Guys, Recently I did a full site backup of our sccm 2012 box as we were moving it to a different box. Once the box was built I restored the backup and it has not operated properly ever since. Not only did it not backup the sources folder (yipeeeee), it just hasn't been the same. At the moment I am trying to deploy a new image to some test machines and it is driving me insane as it is not working. I initially tried deploying to the whole room but after it wasn't working, I decided to do it to a single client and try and get to the bottom of the issue. I have remade the packages, updated the distibution point, checked firewall and network settings and I can't for the life of me figure out why it is failing. So I have turned to you guys! I have attached logs from the client in question. Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers, Kyle. CAS.log DataTransferService.log LocationServices.log
