  1. I got the same issue, but i thought it was because i'm still using ADK 1511 (10.0.10586.0) and ConfigMgr 1511 (5.00.8325.1000). I will upgrade to ConfigMgr 1610 and after that to 1703, just thinking of updating mine installed ADK 1511 directly to ADK 1703. But i'm not sure ADK 1703 will work with ConfigMgr 1610. I will test your reboot suggestion in my current config. Reboot step does fix the progress Bar issue, but the custom wallpaper disappears.
  2. Hi, Anyone a sugestion? Manu thanks.
  3. Dear, I've upgrade our SCCM 2012 R2 environment to 2012 R2 SP1 including the WADK 10 for fully support of Windows 10. I re-created the boot images and injected the needed boot drivers including the scsi driver of VMWare. Everything is working normal, all my physical hardware can be imaged except a Virtual Machine. I've tried in VMWare Workstation / Player as VCenter (ESXi) but the harddisk (IDE/SATA or SCSI) won't be recognized! With the command DRVLOAD i've tried several other SCSI / PVSCSI drivers from VMWARE tools but none is working. I do not understand why this isn't working anymore in WinPE 10, in my previous WinPE 5 (WADK 8.1) i had no trouble imaging a VM. Does anyone has experience this also and have solution for it ? I'm using the x86 boot image for deploying Win7 x86 / x64 Thanks in advanced. With kind regards, Mitchel
  4. Hi, In our enviroment we have only one scope, so the dsitribution point is included.
  5. Dear, I've created a new security rol in SCCM 2012 R2 for our Servicedesk. They are able to view and add Resources to a collection and redistribute content to their DP's. But the option: Update Distribution Points on a Package is not available for this role, and i can't find the right permission to enable this option. I want that our servicedesk is able to update the package on the DP's. Does anyone know which permission you need to enable for this options? There's a topic on this forum about the same issue and the answer was: permission Distribute on de Package Class, but this permission isn't available in SCCM 2012 R2. Thanks in advanced. With kind regards, Mitchel
  6. Dear, I want to discuss / know what the strategy is for other SCCM Administrators to deliver their OSD. It's a bad practice to just deploy a Windows 7 OSD to the All Systems Collection, but it comes in handy for the Servicedesk. If they need to re-install a system, they just hit F12, fill in the password and they can image the system. I want to know, how you guys doing this ? Need the servicedesk ask you to add a system to a specific collection, so the OSD deployment comes available for that system? Or do you grant the servicedesk several permissions to modiy a collection, so they can add the system by them selfs? Or maybe you made a custom tool which can add to system to a collection? Thanks in advanced.
  7. Does anyone know if the SRV RR record is required in the DNS for the Management Point? If i manual install the client with a batch file with the parameter of my SMSMP the client installation is working fine. Also with OSD the client is installing fine and is registerd on the MP. Only the Client Push Installation will fail, i see in the locationservices.log the following error: Failed to retrieve DNS service record using _mssms_mp_nlm._tcp.DOMAIN.COM lookup. DNS returned error 9003 So logical i think there is no such record for mine MP. ( We are in a Europe Domain with different subsidiaries, so i've no access to the DNS. ) I found a small work arround, when i change the SLP value in the registry of the client to the new MP then the Push installation is working. ( so i will create a regkey and deploy it with a GPO ) But i would love to know what my problem is, why Push installation failes. Thanks.
  8. Dear, I'm working an a migration from 2007 to 2012, i'm at the final step to upgrade my clients to 2012. When i manual push de client installation, I see in the client.msi.log that the value of the SLP is the old sccm server. I've added the following switches to my push installation: SMSMP=NLSV001001.DOMAIN.COM SMSSITECODE=NLM SMSCONFIGSOURCE=PU RESETKEYINFORMATION=TRUE I've done this because i havent extended my domain schema. In SCCM 2012 the SLP role is integrated so you don't need to give this parameter for the installation, but in the log file the parameter is being used :S. I think it's getting this old value from a cache or someting ? In my SCCM 2007 Site i've removed the SLP Rol and removed all boundries, so there's no overlapping. When i push de installation i've tried to uninstall the old client first and i've manualy selected the MP to get the client from, but it's not working. In my testing fase i've succesfully installed some client through the push methode, but now it's not working? Has some advise for me, where to look for the problem? thanks in advanced. Mitchel
  9. Hello, I've found the following solutation: Create Task Sequence Media USB Stick with SCCM. With the following free software: ImageUSB you can make a .BIN file from the Orginal SCCM USB Key. Save this .BIN file somewhere and after creation, you can use this .BIN file to write it to multiple USB sticks. I've tested this application and wrote simultaneous to 4 USB Sticks , and they all are bootable and working Next Monday i will test it with an USB Hub, to write to 14 USB Sticks and once. Link: http://www.osforensics.com/tools/write-usb-images.html Tip: When creating the .BIN file, this file become very large. In mine example I had a 15GB SCCM TS and the .BIN file was 61GB.
  10. Dear, For a mirgration project we want to use 50 or more SCCM Bootable Stand-alone USB Sticks. I've read on this forum earlier about a device which is able to copy a source SCCM Stick to many others simultaneous. I'cant find the topic back, can you advise me which device is good for this task? Maybe someone has expierence with it ? Thanks in advanced, Mitchel
  11. Hi Jorgen, Thanks for you reply, it's working now ! With kind regards, Mitchel
  12. Hello, I have SCCM 2007 R3 in Mixed Mode and we automatically approve computers in trusted domains. Every computer which is imaged from our network are approved, no problems there. But when a computers is installed with a Stand-alone media from USB-Key the client will show up in the configuration manager console, but it will not be approved. I need to manual click on approve. In the Task Sequence i have the step: Setup windows and ConfigMgr, and this step will install the SCCM client. But with the Stand-Alone Media the computer will be installed offline, so it can't communicate with the SCCM Server while installing. What shall i do to resolve this problem? Do we need to install the client manual after the computer is connected to our network and in our domain? Thanks in advanced. With kind regards, Mitchel
  13. Daniel, Did you got a answer or found the solution to your question?
  14. I have SCCM 2007 and want to deploy Citrix Receiver Enterprise 3.4 on Windows XP SP3. In a custom task sequence i made a uninstall command and after that the receiver will be installed. While Citrix Receiver is uninstalling the Task Sequence hangs.. , then i move the task sequence and the uninstall continues. I see that Windows wil copy some files and after that the Task Sequence contiune to the next step. While Citrix Receiver is installing it will hang again, untill i move the TS progress bar or give it focus. I've never expirience this behavior, and i tried several commands with Citrix Receiver. with and without /silent /cleanup etc. Have anyone an idea what this could be ?
