Following upgrading to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU1 I was expecting to see Windows 10 listed on the Asset Intelligence - License 14A - Microsoft Volume License reconciliation report, since Windows XP, 7 & 8 are listed, but not 10... is this a report not being updated by MS or should it show?
This is a fresh install of SCCM 2012 SP1 with SQL 2008 R2 SP2 + CU14. Running a single box as a primary site.
I can list, view, run reports from the SCCM console on the site server but any remote workstation consoles will not list any reports and simply shows "No items found." in the SCCM console ?
Can someone explain why?
Hoping that someone can clear up the following question for me...
I'm about to start a simple SCCM 2012 SP1 roll out consisting of a single primary site with distribution points sited at remote locations.
With regard to the initial SCCM client deployment when client push is enabled will this be installed from the distribution points closest to the user and not the primary site server, bearing in mind that boundary's and boundary groups will be setup?
Basically I want to avoid the PC's at the remote locations having the client pushed to them over a slow link and instead install from a distribution point that is physically local to the devices; should I be using one of the other deployment methods i.e. via GPO, login script or god for bid a manual install?
