You have a couple of errors which are "80004005". This usually means "Access Denied" for what ever reason. Does SCCM have the correct network accounts linked in with it? Are the accounts it does use/have access to able to access the locations for all of your files? (Hope that makes sense). It will be easier once the file is uploaded .
-
Sorry, could you actually just upload the file to this post so that I/we can download it? It's a lot easier to view then . Thanks (In the mean time, I will try to look through it and see what it's saying)

If you want to image a computer using the method, then both the boot images and Windows Images will need to be distributed to the distribution point. Please follow this guide created by anyweb for distributing Boot Images (as well as the .wim files). But when distributing the image file you have, make sure you do it for your image in your own environment, NOT exactly the way anyweb does it on this guide as this is installing a brand new version of Windows 7 using the image off a Windows disk. Also, the logs are all located here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs The log you want is: SMSPXE.log (Change the drive to where you have installed it, and you may need to gain permission for the folder depending on how you access it, which is fine/normal). Have you distributed both boot images to your distribution point? Also, I'm pretty certain on the logs of the sever there is one for pxe boot which will tell you what's wrong hopefully

Deploying OSD to a tablet without network port
Edenost replied to xc3ss1v3's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
Have you added the USB Network card drivers to SCCM it self to allow the TS to install them as part of the drivers install? It doesn't seem to pick mine up automatically, so I force the install of drivers after the OS has been applied, but before a reboot (so before it leaves WinPE). This seems to do the trick for me Thanks (This is using Dells USB Network card on a Dell Tablet). -
That error usually indicates it cannot find the file specified. Check it's been distributed and is accessible and available
-
Does it eventually come back and stay?
-
Hi, Not sure if this would help or not for the WiFi bit, but I have an automated WiFi connection within the OSD. I export the xml file with all of the WiFi profile in it (This should help with that). During the TS, I have command line that runs the following: CMD.exe /C netsh WLAN add profile filename="\\SERVER\NETWORK_LOCATION\WiFi.xml" This connects my tablets & laptops to WiFi during OSD.

Hi, When deploying an OS with SCCM and PXE Boot, you shouldn't need to configure the WDS at all, sccm will sort all of it out (much like SUP and WSUS). I would personally remove all WDS and the SCCM Side of OSD and start from scratch following anywebs guide here until step 5. Other wise, maybe take a look at this and see if it helps: http://www.bootix.com/support/problems_solutions/pxe_e32_tftp_open_timeout.html

PXE not booting from physical machines
Edenost replied to johnnycage's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
Check the BIOS settings and maybe the version? We had a few Intel machines which had Version 2.03 (of the pxe stuff, can't remember the name lol), and when we updated (2.16), it pxe booted with no problems. -
Ok, bit late but I thought I would just provide an update. I have FINALLY got it to work. Installed Shockwave and it made no difference, so I tried a few other things, installed .NET 3.5, 4.5, 4.5.2, no difference. Uninstalled Flash Plugin, reinstalled from 11, and upgraded bit by bit to 13 to see if it gave Windows something to play with in between updates, no luck. So, I kept searching and came across this: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html At the bottom of the page is a list of a couple of updates for IE in Windows 8.1. This is an update for Windows 8.1 IE which does something to Flash Player as well. Installed that, Worked 100% fine right away. Here are the updates. I thought I would make a quick list to save you searching the page for them (not hard to find, but still... Nice and easy this way for anyone else who may come across the same issue I had). Windows 8.1 x64 - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=328651&clcid=0x409 Windows 8.1 x86 - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=328650&clcid=0x409 Windows 8 - x64 - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=252627&clcid=0x409 Windows 8 - x86 - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=252626&clcid=0x409 Thanks, Phil

Ok, so I tried to make the GPO point to the built in users, this is all I can point to it seems. Am I missing something? Should I use the group "Non-Administrators"? Or will that SID be stripped? Thanks
-
Ahh, now that sounds good. I will give it a try. Will the built in users group also contain the admin account though, or not?
-
I have probably done it wrong, but I did it all prior to imaging. I created the image, set the local policy for the "Student account", then took the image. Obviously taking and deploying it, it SysPreps. Therefore removing the SSID's on the account, and the local GPO is no longer applied to the account which it was assigned too, because the GPO is assigned to a SSID it seems (When I open the GPO Object which I have saved, it says it cannot find the Security for the accounts.
-
Ahh, thanks for this. I presume that this will apply to local groups instead then, rather than a local single account? Wouldn't that then be scrubbed the same way as an account is during SysPrep? (SSID's...etc)
-
Hi all, Possibly a bit of an odd one now. I would like to be able to take an image on SCCM WITHOUT it performing the SysPrep. The reasons for this are: The school I work in provides laptops to some pupils who require extra help...etc during their school day and exams, but only help with writing. Either they can't write well or their handwriting is too hard to be read (so they end up failing because the examiner cannot read what they have written). With that, we provide them laptops which are NOT ever on the domain or the Internet. As they are never on the domain, Domain GPO is not an option for them so I create local group policies for each user account in question (Since 7 (possibly vista???), you can create a local GPO per local User account rather than having to lock the whole machine down using a standard Local GPO). When I take an image, of course it removes all of the SSID's on the accounts in question, and the local GPO which I have saved to the Admin Desktop no longer applies to the account in question. (Errors about SSIDs) Prior to SCCM, I used Ghost to take images and deploy. When I deployed a laptop like this, I would not SysPrep the image, I would just literally copy and paste it if you will. This skipped SysPrep and the Local GPO's still applied when the image was deployed. The only other way I can think to achieve this in a quick fix sense would be to just apply a local GPO to the machine and lock it down no matter if you were logged on as Admin or Student. This is kind of impractical, as the Admin would be just as locked out as a student and there would be no point in even having an Admin account on the machine. If anyone has any pointers, they would be much appreciated. Thanks, Phil (I hope this all makes sense!!!).

Where it says press f12 for network boot, you need to do that within a few seconds when it appears otherwise you end up with the screen you have now
-
I have the exact same issue. At the present time, there doesn't seem to be a way to do it except for side loading, which as you say, requires the appx and any linked files. The best thing is possibly contact the publisher for the files (long shot lol) or you'll just have to wait until MS realise they need to do something more like chrome does with gpo and chrome apps

Microsoft Office 2013 Standalone Deployment
Edenost replied to firstcom's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
The error is access denied or inaccessible if I remember correctly. Maybe it needs network access to complete part of the install task? -
Ahh, is that what Shockwave is?! I thought it was another plugin type! I will install shockwave and see how I get on...pretty noob mistake on my part if it is that!

WSUS / SCCM 2012 Updates not installing
Edenost replied to firstcom's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
Do you have the wsus service installed on your central server? From what I remember, the SUP needs wsus installed. You can configure it to talk to your main wsus server with upstream/downstream setups. Maybe its that? -
Install Software using both MSI and EXE
Edenost replied to bpkrillen's topic in Configuration Manager 2012
Have you tried running the exe but using msiexec commands? Like: Setup.exe /quiet /norestart A few Microsoft exe files allow this, like the internet explorer 11 one. -
Hi all, Sorry if this has been asked already. I am having an issue with Flash and Windows 8.1. I work in a school and we have a few programs which use Flash Player to run (I presume they are SWF files), but they are ran from an .exe. When I run them, it failed to load the player... I have both the flash for IE (built in), and also the FireFox version as well, but it doesn't seem to want to use either of them. Is there a setting or something I need to change? I have been through the Flash control panel from Windows Control Panel and cannot find anything there. I have tried using the Adobe Flash Projector player for standalone, I have tried in compatibility mode as well and run as admin, still no luck. Of course, it works on Windows 7 and XP... but not 8 . This is a bit of a road block at the moment as a fair bit of the school software has been made to use flash (Crap developers!!!! lol). Thanks Phil

If you have a look at this, get the VMWare NIC drivers (or what ever VM system you are using...even Virtual Box??), and install them to the boot image http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9720-cannot-load-generic-boot-images/
