  1. Thx Rocket, your help was just what I needed. I ran all the steps in the wrong order hence the leftovers. Next time (Next week another DP is killed off) things will go smoothly...
  2. I think the POC farm we built 1 1/2 years ago got me confused. I tried the way you showed and it works like a charm. Only thing left is the cleanup... is it normal there is so much "clutter" left from an installation? Directories that are left are: SCCMContentlib SMS_CCM SMS_DP$ SMSPKGD$ SMSIG$
  3. Is that the "microsoft way" to delete a site system from the SCCM farm or is there a cleaner way?
  4. Hi there, We are trying to remove the "site system" role from one of our site systems (building is closing) and the "site system" button is greyed out. As there are only 2 roles on our site systems, we first removed the "distribution point" rol. After that the site system role removal button stays grey. We searched google, but none of the offered solutions helped in this case. We've tried: -Restart Management point -Restart SQL database -Restart Site system I hope someone can help us with dealing with this problem.
  5. Hi there, At my company we've setup 1 primary server and 10 distribution points at different building througout the region. Everything works fine, but now 1 of the buildings is closing and I need to kill off 1 distribution point. I know how to uninstall the roles from the dp and that's that, but what about all the references to it ? Do i need to edit them manually (like task sequences) or does SCCM 2012 clean that up by it self?
