  2. Thank you for the response Peter. Is this the only way to limit SCCM from downloading off of other sites? I just want to make sure I've checked all of my options before implementing a solution.
  3. Hi Guys, New to the forums here, long time lurker. I'm trying to install some security updates and I want them to only download from their local DP, meaning if the local site does not have the package, don't try dragging it across the country from another site to update. I believe the correct setting I'm looking for is under Download Settings in Template Properties -- "Specify whether to allow clients that are within boundaries of one or more protected distribution points to download and install software updates from unprotected distribution points when the updates are not available from any protected distribution point:" -- And I have the option here to not install the software updates. Will this setting ensure that my patches only update from a local server, and if not at the local server, don't install? Any feedback would be appreciated and thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
