  1. It looks like the server may have run out of disk space because of the large amount of data from Windows updates. Item not found was a great clue. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for your response. I have added it to the boundary group. When I remove the new server from the boundary group and put an existing working server in there, the software distribution works. When I put the new server back, it stops working.
  3. I set up a new distribution point. I have 25 others that are working correctly. On the latest one, everything looks to be correct but when I try to install software on a client it fails with an error code of 0x87D00215. When I look at the CAS.log on the client, for matching DP locations, all of my other DPs are listed but not the new one. I have set up the boundary as IP then tried by AD site with the same failed result. New DP is Windows Server 2012 R2. Config Manager version is 1610. Does anyone have an idea where I could look next?
  4. Is it possible to see what DP a computer is connected to while running a task sequence? I am trying to image a computer with a DP onsite but it seems like the computer is getting the content from a fallback server based on the time it is taking.
  5. I have been working around the clock for the last week trying to get some Windows 2003 SP2 domain controllers installed as distribution points. I know it is not the ideal setup but that is all we have in some of our remote offices. 2008 domain controllers are working fine. Everything looks good on the SCCM console monitor regarding the set up. The packages do not distribute. I have loaded every applicable hotfix on the 2003 servers. I have upgraded SCCM 2012 to R2. I have loaded the prerequisites on the 2003 server. - Installed IIS with bits - Installed RDC - Created the WMI namespace (mofcomp \\site-server\sms_rhh\bin\x64\smsdpprov.mof I tried to install with the site system account (which I have in the domain admins and full admin groups), the enterprise admin account and my own domain admin account, The error I get is ExecStaticMethod failed (80041002) SMS_DistributionPoint, AddFile and CSendFileAction::SendFiles failed; 0x80041002. The biggest problem I see is the file structure does not get created under SCCMContentLib on the 2003 server. I get SCCMContentLib but it is empty. Also, there is no log file created in D:\SMS_DP$\sms\logs (D is my source drive.) Does anyone have any ideas for me to check?
