  1. Hello, I've set up a VM Exchange server for an exam I have monday. I've installed outlook on a windows client. When I start outlook for the first time my name and email address appears correctly in the Add new account wizard. Then I get some certificate warning (no certificates configured yet), I click yes to proceed. Then the wizard says the email accunt is succesfully configured. So far so good. Wizard Finishes. Outlook starts. Then I get this error: Cannot open your default e-mail folders. You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your Outlook data file (.ost). I have this error on all my clients for all profiles I tried. MX Server: Vmware windows 2012 exchange 2010 dc: windows 2008r2 client vm: windows 7 x32 outlook 2010. didn't work with 2013 either. Anyone have an idea? It would be much appreciated. I've googled on this and found some stuff but nothing worked.
  2. the only thing I actually found was this: http://blogs.technet.com/b/michaelgriswold/archive/2013/09/02/testing-software-deployment-for-a-linux-machine.aspx which deploys a script. I didn't succeed in getting it to run though. Nothing happend. In some podcast I found they showed a package which installed a program on a RPM-based linux using the command rpm <filename>. I tried something like that with deb-files (I use Debian) and the command dkpg -i packagename.db. It failed too.
  3. It totally worked. Thanks
  4. I've installed these two patches and those errors still appear every hour.
  5. I'm currently writing a thesis about SCCM. I'd like to write more about SCCM and Linux (because we've had a lot of Linux classes). I've found out how to install the SCCM client on Linux, this was easy to find. Apparantly it is possible to use in SCCM to: -deploy software to linux using packages (not applications) -install program updates -install OS updates But I can't find any examples of this. Does anyone have or know interesting examples for this? The only thing I found was this link that deploys a command to linux, and it doesn't even work for me. http://blogs.technet.com/b/michaelgriswold/archive/2013/09/02/testing-software-deployment-for-a-linux-machine.aspx Any advice would be much appreciated.
