Task Sequence - Vbscript to install software
ejon posted a question in Deploy software, applications and drivers
Hi, I have created program packages in SCCM. Half of these software are the easy *.msi install. However some some are different - means.. running a vbscript to install. The problem is TS doesnt seem to run the VB script specified. (eg. cscript.exe vbscriipt.vbs) nor adding a registry key value (eg. regedit /s registry.reg). cheers ej -
Hi Guys I have confifured my reference Windows 7 image and have tried to capture it using the same TS. However....... 1. it reinstalls win 7 2. then it runs sysprep 3. then it captures it...... ????? does this mean to purely just capture the image is to Disable the Task Sequence of installing windows 7?? cheers EJ

Hi anyweb First of all .. your materials are awesome and it helped me through alot of things Great work!! This is probably a dumb question but. after the image is installed into the machine a dialogue window pops up saying that there are some advertised programs that users can run (other OS installs) is there a settings that we can disable this from prompting the users? cheers! ej -

Hi Integrating MDT 2010 with SCCM for ZTI is great. BUT since SCCM now can do what MDT can... what purpose does MDT 2010 have?
