  1. Hi, I keep getting these errors when syncing SUP in SCCM 2012. The Microsoft Software License Terms have not been completely downloaded and cannot be accepted. Source: Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.BaseApi.SoapExceptionProcessor.DeserializeAndThrow I have tried reinstalling WSUS, tried clearing the categories then syncing, then readding categories but seem to still get this error. Has anyone got any ideas I can try? Thanks
  2. Hi, I've got SCCM installed on C drive and this is now filling up. Is it possible to postinstall move the SMSPkg folder to another drive?
  3. Well it seems, having given it a few days it now seems to be working?! All i've done is added those permissions which is weird cos as you say (and having since read around) you dont need anymore. I'll give it a test over the coming days and if the issue returns will repost. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated

  6. When doing computer naming, i used the customsettings.ini file to dynamically configure the computer name depending on a few variables. I found this link helped: http://scriptimus.wordpress.com/2011/04/19/mdt-2010-setting-the-default-computername/
  7. Hi All, Just wondering how people do there software updates for servers and workstations using SCCM 2012. Do you use ADR's to create a new update group each month after patch Tuesday, and have a separate one for out of bands updates? Do you then have several different collections for servers and workstations for pilot, dev and production phases? Just trying to get an idea as to how to create a software update plan for my environment.

    WSUS Error

Managed to fix this in the end by reinstalling WSUS and by selecting Database rather than WID database.
  9. Just so all you all know, figured out why this wasnt working. For UEFI on 32 bit versions you have to have a windows server 2012 PXE distribution point. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh974416.aspx

    WSUS Error

Hi All, I'm getting the following error and just wondered if anyone has seen this error and been able to solve it? I've checked permissions, and managed to get it to start syncing through telling the software update point component to synchronize from microsoft update. 7003 WSUS Control Manager failed to monitor WSUS Server ". Possible cause: WSUS Server version 3.0 SP2 or above is not installed or cannot be contacted. Solution: Verify that the WSUS Server version 3.0 SP2 or greater is installed. Verify that the IIS ports configured in the site are same as those configured on the WSUS IIS website. Thanks
  13. I had a similar problem to this, and this article assisted me http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/99b13d65-3305-46c7-b5a0-96513408520b/sccm-2012-deploy-error-the-software-change-returned-error-code-0x87d003242016410844?forum=configmanagerapps In the end I found that my detection by file wasn't working and I had to detect by registry key.
