Hi Wow, recreated management point and Distribution point, went through all settings of the step by step install of sccm 2012 to see if I have mistakenly changed a setting and did not find anything missing or wrong, Restarted a half a dozen times, tested with a windows 8 vm which installed the client automatically, then created a windows 7 vm and now it is working......

Usually when you add a machine to the domain, SCCM server picks it up and pushes the client without me having to manually right click pc and install client. It stopped working now after upgrade.

Hi When going onto the console and manually pushing the client to install, it runs without failing.

Hi I also see that the query to place the new pc into the windows 7 Device Collection, does not update, does it usually only update after the ccm client has been installed?

Hi I upgraded from sccm2012 to SP1 and then to R2, same server and DB. I see that the client push is not working and I have not been working a lot with SMS / SCCM to troubleshoot correctly. There is no ccmsetup.log file on the client pc (Windows7). It never even starts to do the push from the Primary (Standalone) server. Where on the server can I see where things drop? ccm.log file is large and difficult to read.
