  1. Client installs but doesn't automatically assign a site code. Anything i could have missed ? I also still have client ""No" on the site server interface.
  2. works when i put 200 as default port and open this port in windows firewall on site server. Thanks
  3. port 200 is configured in IIS by default SCCM uses port 80 ( i dont know where this is set - otherwise i wouldn't need to ask )
  4. oh sorry.. SCCM 2007 SP1 on WINDOWS 2003 server x64 Clients are Windows XP .. Sharepoint portal server already using port 80
  5. i get The language specific BITS version wasn't found (Failed to download 'WindowsXP-KB923845-x86-ENU.exe' from 'http://SERVER.DOMAIN.LOCAL/CCM_Client/i386/BITS25' with error code 0x80004005) in ccmsetup.log on my client. the correct link however is http://SERVER.DOMAIN.LOCAL:200/CCM_Client/i386/BITS25 with port 200 which settings shoud i change to reflect this during my client push install process ?
  6. i would like to update all windows xp computers on my LAN to windows XP service pack 3. I tried following the instructions here http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=569 but i get "The specified directory does not contain a valid operating system......." i mounted the windows XP service pack 3 Network installation version ISO using Ultra ISO and shared the virtual CDROM. i used this shared path as data source for operating system install package. Any assistance will be appreciated.
