I've built a task sequence to build and capture our reference image; windows 10. I have been successful in the build and capture task sequence. I have a couple of application installations built into the task sequence; MS Office 2016 and Chrome. So far so good. The big issue I see with the process is that there is no suspend task. I was hoping for a suspend task, so I could configure the default profile and maybe be able to use copyprofile with the sysprep task. I need to be able to set up a default profile and leverage copy profile in the build and capture task sequences. Anyone know how to accomplish this or have recommendations on configuring a default profile in the build and capture task sequence?

I'm just now cutting my teeth on the build and capture task sequence. Why would my system drive be x: instead of c:? Also is there a way to copy a folder to the c:\ and add a run once within the build and capture task sequence? If, so, at what step would I implement the task in the task sequence? Thanks Shine

We have 2 distribution servers and the one I need to rename is the second one we put in place. What is the procedure on renaming a distribution point server in SCCM 2012R2. The roles installed on our second DP server are Site System, State migration point, component server, and Distribution point. I need to rename the server and set a different IP address on it. Thanks, Sunshine

How to create a device collection for SCEP Active clients at risk
shineknox posted a question in How do I ?
I need to be able to create a device collection that I can target with a Task sequence. I need the collection to populate with "active clients at risk". How would one accomplish this? Thanks, Sunshine -
I'm looking to run a task in a task sequence, if the previous task fails. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? thanks, shineknox

One thing i can't stand about forums is no one responding back to how they fixed their issue. I hope this helps someone down the road. I just got off the phone with support and this was their fix as well. They said it's a client side issue with certificates being corrupt. ERROR: Error. I appreciate the help. I was able to find a work around by deleting the keys located under ‘HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SMS\Certificates*’ on the client side and reboot the machine. Then the restores/captures work as expected. You have any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks Sunshine

Same issue here this product sucks and so does finding any solutions. I guess we are the only desperate enough to use it or forced to use it.

I created another DP with site migration point enabled and still a no go. Biggest pile of crap I've used SCCM.
