  1. it should provide information like that, Nicolaj even created a console extention to provide that information on a per device level (see: http://www.scconfigmgr.com/2013/10/11/get-dell-warranty-status-within-configmgr-2012-console/
  2. ConfigMgr itself should have access to the registry, as it's running using SYSTEM credentials.
  3. There is no need to configure and install WebDAV anymore... What errors do you see in the IIS log files?
  4. Sorry about that, I missed the part about ISO files. You can mount ISO images by using PowerShell, see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh848706.aspx
  5. AFAIK not exactly that information, but there is a builtin report that shows you the distribution point usage (it's name Distributiont point usage summary).
  6. Are you using any antivirus/antimalware client on the distribution point server, or on the server hosting the source directory?
  7. Adaptiva and 1E.
  8. It sounds like you've got an IP during WinPE, but not during FullOS. Also, you mentioned you;re using the same driver in both situations. Please make sure that the drivers match the Operating System that's being deployed.Depending on the Operating System you;re deploying, the Operating System might require different drivers than your WinPE.
  9. You can simply use DISM and do something like this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824814.aspx
  10. You can simply mount an image by using DISM and doing something like this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824814.aspx
  11. A 100 clients in total? If so, then go for a migration.
  12. By any change a required task sequence deployment?
  13. This article should help (it;s about custumizing Windows 8):http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2012/12/19/corporate-identity-oem-branding-in-windows-8/
  14. Not sure what you're asking... The actions should be similar for Windows PE 5.1, as for Windows PE 5.0
  15. The easiest method is probably using group policies. See: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee617161(v=ws.10).aspx
  16. I concur with Niall. Unless you're going over the 100k clients, I would go for a migration and if needed reinstall the server as a secondary site or a site system. About the clients, the easiest way is probably to reainstall the clients.
  17. Not sure what you are exactly looking for, but for a very extensive guide on Windows 8.1 deployment via MDT 2013 see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn744279.aspx Simply pick the pieces you need from that article. I can;t imagine that you;re question is not answered by that guide.
  18. Have a look at this guide by Johan: http://www.deploymentresearch.com/Research/tabid/62/EntryId/111/Creating-a-dual-boot-WinPE-5-0-boot-image-x86-and-x64-support.aspx
  19. The trigger is the component Task Sequence Manager in combination with the message Id 11171. As soon as a task sequence generates that message the rule will start. Also, make sure that the script is working before testing it in a status filter rule, because those rules don't generate any logging.
  20. Try finding the installation log file of the application. The most applications write in the C:\Windows\Temp folderm by default.
  21. That role doesn't exist.. what are you looking for the Enrollment (proxy) point, or the connection with Intune?
  22. This log file doesn't show an error, there must be another log file with more information.
  23. Not sure what you're looking for.. You just want to know which client doesn't have the Endpoint Protection client? If so, you can simply look in the console at \Monitoring\Overview\Endpoint Protection Status\System Center 2012 R2 Endpoint Protection Status.
  24. I assume you're running it as an old-school package and in that case you should look in the execmgr.log file.
  25. That looks like a default task sequence and that should be fine for a computer-refresh. For an outline of the process, see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh397289.aspx#BKMK_CaptureRestoreUserStateWorkflows
