  1. It works almost the same as Office 2010, so take a look here: http://www.windows-n...sing-sccm-2007/
  2. Next time please create a different post, as it has nothing to do with the initial post... To answer your question, no bitlocker can not be managed via SCCM 2012, it can only be configured via SCCM 2012 (Task Sequence).
  3. This sounds a lot like DNS issues....
  4. 50/50 - I think it's trial and error to figure out which one it is
  5. I've only seen that error in combination with bad drives....
  6. Isn't Visio and/ or Project a separate installation??? If you have an installation of Office 2010 and you want to add, for example, Access then you need to use a Config.xml to add that component. You can only use a msp once.
  7. How do you create the new WIM image (what does your task sequence looks like)? Did you build it of the original Windows 7 source?
  8. Did you also find any entries in the AppEnforce.log?
  9. The last step in that log files seems to be succesfull... do you have more (SMSTS-)logfiles?
  10. Have you seen this: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/configmanagerapps/thread/eba91d49-fa78-47e9-ad16-4ba571d1c8bc
  11. That's a very generic error, you should take a look at the smsts.log for more information.
  12. If it's a problem during the Task Sequence then you're looking in the correct log. Otherwise for an Advertised Program you should look in the execmgr.log and for a Deployed Application you should look in the AppEnforce, log
  13. Settings of the Software Update Point can still be managed via Administration > Overview > Site Configuration > Sites > Site Server > Settings > Configure Site Components > Software Update Point.
  14. Based on this little information one Standalone Primary should be easily enough...
  15. 1. Correct; 2. Start with the SMSTS.log; 3. What about WOL?; 4. Correct.
  16. I actually got know idea if that can have any influence on seeing the multiple task sequences... I do know that what you are doing with the manually changing of the package folders can cause lots of problems (like hash errors)...
  17. The reason you have to select a Task Sequence is because you've configured it as Optional. The biggest pro is that this can be ZTI.
  18. It should function the same with two optional Task Sequences.
  19. I gave you feedback... I would start with looking at UDI in MDT, it already brings a lot of these things out-of-the-box and integrates with SCCM.
  20. Yes, if you're not planning on using them as Packages.
  21. It's probably PointSec that's in your way... have you seen this post: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrosd/thread/74231add-1602-4851-bb47-b25e7f468773/
  22. There are some things you should keep in mind... By default SCCM installs with the SYSTEM account, so first test the installation behavior with something like psexec to see if it will behave as you expect it to. If you want to install as the current user, then it should be specified and the user needs enough rights.
  23. That's possible, just two different Task Sequences.
  24. I don't really get the problem... The idea about a Build and Capture is to build a new image every time from the original source and the updates..
