  1. You will still need the WSUS Database, as WSUS syncs with Microsoft and stores that information. After that SCCM uses the metadata of WSUS again to download and deploy those updates.
  2. 1. It is default behaviour of the install.wim of the original DVD/ISO to apply to D. 2. Why not using a ComputerVariable to add the License Key?
  3. Go to the Properties of the Program. Then go to the Tab Environment, when you select there Only when a user is logged on you can select Run with user's rights.
  4. Then that's your problem, you can't copy something to a users profile with the SYSTEM account...
  5. Is the machine within the Boundaries of the Site?
  6. With what rights are you running the script? As by default SCCM uses the SYSTEM account.
  7. When nothing is created, it sounds like a Boundary issue. It sounds like you try to push to a system thats outside the Boundaries of the Site.
  8. Did you take a look at the scanstate and loadstate logfiles?
  9. Was this problem, by any change, in combination with an ISA (Proxy) server?
  10. Did you take a look at the ccm.log after you tried the Push Installation?
  11. Are you, by any change, using the standard install.wim? If so, then capture your own image, because the standard install.wim will always install on D:
  12. Why using multiple WIM's at all?
  13. The drivers can only used by clients if they exist in a Driver Package.
  14. It gets installed with IIS6 automatically ( http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer2003/Library/IIS/3cbec1c7-e3ed-43d3-86e8-ce94e4375e70.mspx?mfr=true ), it just needs to be enabled.
  15. Also, WINS is not needed with SCCM. When using a SLP it's also possible to just add the SLP as an installation parameter with the client.
  16. Are all the files of the USMT Package still available?
  17. Maybe this helps: http://www.wsusSPAM!/index.php?showtopic=5989
  18. This is still possible as long as you advertise the Task Sequence to a different collection then Unknown Computers.
  19. Correct. The settings of the Advertisement has to stand on "Download..."
  20. Did you first test this query (SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Model LIKE "% HP Compaq dc7800 Small Form Factor %")? It doesn't look correct, as you have a space in front and at the end of the modelname...
  21. Did you already find the driver cabs (http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/Dell+Business+Client+Operating+System+Deployment+-+The+.CAB+Files)?
  22. I think you first have to upgrade the Database on the old server.
  23. I meant that the driveletter is missing...
  24. That's different per customer. It all depends on functionality and costs.
  25. I assume this is related to the other post?
