  1. Dell Windows Vista SP1 Australia Prepackaged, Boot.WIM Realtek 8100C NIC Driver from Dell. http://support.ap.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=au&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R209782&SystemID=VOS_N_1520&servicetag=&os=WLH&osl=en&deviceid=15607&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=5&fileid=294711 Same Drivers, but newer and from Realtek Direct. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false WDS managed to stuff up our DHCP server today, had to rescope, and uninstall WDS. due to deadlines, all laptops were done via Sysprep/Acronis Backup....did about 8 within 2 hours...massive multitasking. But once again....Automated Deployment is something im striving for in my workplace All future work is going to be done on a Testing enviroment separate network. Target is to have a automated deployment system for the firms 36 machines...not many machines, but ey its worth it for the experience
  2. Have done so, Both the drivers available from Dell (old surprisingly) and Realtek. 32bit drivers do not find the NIC. During all attempts none of the 64 bit drivers are retained. IPConfig remains Nil Detail. Architecture is x64, the Boot Image is x86. Due to no success with this, have decided to go with a Removable Express/PCMCIA external NIC for deployment services. It'd just be nice to complete this challenge.
  3. Been working on getting a Vista Business Boot WIM to load through PXE boot of late, once it reaches please wait it cannot find a DHCP lease or ipconfig. Shift+F10 and ipconfig shows no available NIC's. Imagex/PEIMG have both been used to inject the netrtx32 and netrtx64 drivers. the 64bit drivers never get committed to the WIM. (/commit is used when unmounting) Machine is a Dell Vostro 1520 with a Realtek 8168 NIC. any Suggestions to ensure the drivers do get attached properly to the BOOT.WIM???
