  3. the problem is i need to do it separately, we want with the CAPTURE taks sequence customize the settings of a client after not at the same time. but just for info, if i try it with 1 task sequence (build n capture) he get the same error like by the capture task seq.... 0x00000032 and 0x00000004 you dont know what kind a error this is ? or can be so i gonna try it one more time. i got some questions to you 1. the client has to be in a workgroup not in a domain, before i start the capture task sequence ? 2. all steps has to be enabled right ? 3. i use win7 so i havent to point on the sysprep in windows/system32 in the build task seq right ? i gonna try it, but u saw something out of the logs ? thanks
  4. hey, i tried it this time also without sysprep u said he would find himeself, but in the capture i got again the same error 0x000004... :S what should i do ???
  5. okay so i delete it again, the thing is i had SCCM 2007 SP1 - i upgradet to R2 but, the version in SCCM show 6221 that is SP1 althought i installed R2, but the BUILD of WIN7 works so i thing its correctly installed... but you saw i had an error by SYSPREP step ind the CAPTURE task sequence if you watch the printscreens so whats the error when he should find it himself ????? error 0x00000004 pls help
  6. Okay thats good thx But have the SYSPREP path to be pointed in the BUILD task sequence ?? in the CAPTURE tasksequence they are no option for the sysprep step what to do ? okay i join workgroup with the clients and enable all steps in the CAPTURE task sequence and gonna look if it works, but i need to know if i have to point in the BUILD task sequence the path to sysprep ?????? thanks mate
  7. Thank you Okay if there is a boundary with the specific IP range where the users are, they can get advertisments also when the havent joint a domain jet right ? ok first i have done a "IP SUBNET BOUNDARY" (picture 1) but after saving that, i click on "properties" and the IP's which i filled in, were deleted (PIC2) automaticaly... this everytime i filled it in, so i deleted this boundary again.. and make a boundary as "IP RANGE BOUNDARY"(PIC 3)its ok like this - can i let them be so ??? now how to make the CAPTURE taks sequence that i in future get no error? u said sysprep i dont have to do by WINDOWS 7 ? or has it to be pointed in the BUILD task sequence? (when yes what do i have to do ?) and whats about the error 0x00000032 by capturing the reference machine ? cant i disable all the steps except this one ? u wrote all steps have to be done for capturing right ? please help m8
  8. ah okay, that means not directly join a domain in the capture task sequence - just join workgroup, but before the CAPTURE TASK SEQUENCE comes, he is already in the domain - i need him to be in the domain otherwise he dont get the tasksequence... yes but by prepare os comes an error how posted before this --> 0x000000004 and by the capture reference machine step, also error ---> 0x0000000032 so what im doing wrong ?
  9. i can show you every configuration as a print screen just help me please
  10. yes im triing to capture WIN 7 image.... i read thru your site, but what i have to configure if i just want to CAPTURE the reference machine ?? this step i also have done --> Allow users to run the program independently of assignments my settings looks like this - something wrong ?? thank you peter
  11. i just need this one... the errors came to this task of the sequence, can you help plz ?? the other task i dont need the error number is 0x00000032
  12. no i never created a sysprep... can you tell me how to do this ? i tried it know with disabling the one task of the sequence where the error came, bcs i just want to SAVE the configurations on that client that i can use them for other clients, i actually need nothing except "CAPTURE IMAGE" but an error came again watch it please... you know whats wrong ?? thx errors.txt
  13. Hey guys i dont know how but this time the CAPTURE task sequnce came... but with a error can you please tell me what kind a error this is ? i cut it from the client SMSTS log thanks
  14. ok but my clients are in the AD, and the boundary shows to the AD site... that means sccm know that i have 2 client in ad that you mean or ? or do i missapprehend you, if yes can you show me an example print screen of the boundary how i have to do this to point on the clients in the ad, bcs i have a boundary AD Site but this point just to the AD not directly to the OU (computers) you know what i mean ?? thx
  15. but how to setup the boundaries just a new boundarie with the client pc or what ? i followed just your SCCM 2007 tutorial uve nowehere specified the client as boundaries :S ? thx edit : here i setup a boundary for a client (DIV0001) or should the boundary be for all clients in 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.64 ?? that would be vor the IP Range option i thing or, here i just have to setup which network adress (AD 192.168.1.1) right ? or how do i understand it and fillit in, i filled everything in (PIC 1) but after saving that, if i go to properties they are deleted fields which will be deleted after every save :S ?? mens i fill it again the subnetmask etc and save, when i go after to properties the subnet mask is away again :S the ID get generated himself... its ok ? in the AD users and computers there are my 2 client machines under (automated install client) you mean this as boundary ? if you want you can show a print screen.... i actually installed R2 but the version is although 6221
  16. but "boundaries" are just connectors like AD site, no clients ? i think thats false, i get some time a advertisment but just sometimes, and the client never are in the boundaries... theres just the boundary for AD as a connector... clients are under collections and nowhere else i think or am i false ? anyweb ? which logs can i show you that you can tell me whats wrong with it ? thx
  17. heeeelp heeeeelp
  18. no in the boundaries i just see the AD site ... no the installed clients dont fall in it after, i have 2 installed clients none in the boundaries :S should they be there ? hmm.. are there no logs to show the errors why the sequence cannot be delivered ?? or cannot be sent ?
  19. you mean Site Managemen --> site settings ?? theres just the domain as a boundary (active directory site) or which boundaries du you exactly mean ?? if you mean in the collection, theres the reference machine with both adverstised task sequences, build and capture - also when the build is finished, the build task sequence is althought in it (as advertised) thx
  20. in which logs can i see why he couldnt send the task sequence to the client ? so i can handle it and search the error or you can help me within the logs thx yes they are 2 different sequences one BUILD and one CAPTURE both advertised, but the capture never arrived at the client... i changed it how anyweb and u kinom said, but doesnt work
  21. thank you very much kinom looks very good ! thx
  22. okay gonna try this thank you edit : hmm dont work :S i've installed the R2 but the version is although these one from SP1 :S i dont know why, i think thatswhy looks my windows (properties/distr. points) not like yours, is not similiar... thank you
