Drive "D" taken by offline media USB

HI All i have a problem that is randomly happening when i am building Windows 8.1 machine using usb offline media ( from MDT) I have 2 partitions on my fixed disk, which suppose to be C and D. When windows boots up, sometimes letter "d" is taken by the usb offline media . This will make my bitlocker step to failed ( as it will look for drive D ). How do i stop letter D to be assigned to the usb offline media?
