  1. If you have taken look at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrgeneral/thread/041a95cb-6c65-4d64-abeb-8ec3fe9a69d7 post,Sullivan posted a script
  2. Take a look at this post http://social.techne...eb-8ec3fe9a69d7 Here are some of the values on User Account Control: 4096 is a plain computer account. 4098 is 4096 + 2, so this would be a disabled computer account. 4128 is 4096 + 32, so this would be a computer account that doesn't require a password. 532480 is 524288 + 8192, so this would be a domain controller account that's trusted for delegation. More info http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305144

  9. If the computers start in PXe boot, you can configure Boot options in WDS to not ask for Press F12 . If you are in server 2K3,you can replace pxeboot.com with pxeboot.n12 .Is that what you are looking for.
  10. Nope,It doesnt agree to service any modifications . DISM does not support servicing a Windows Vista RTM or earlier operating system and to support,it look for SSShim.DLL present or not to process any servicing operations. To change the Locale, you can use imagex tool.
  11. Hmm.....I just did a quick test on mouting the XP wim and it does it (DISM /Mount-wim /wimfile:C:\xp_32Bit.wim /index:1 /Mountdir:c:\mount).
  12. For unsuccessfull clients, looks like the client ran with no parameters specified or invalid parameters, it is assuming AUTO assignment. That means it needs to find a boundary match in order to identify a suitable site and then look for that site's default MP. Can you check,if the IP address/subnet for the Unsuccessful client machines are added to the SCCM Boundaries ? To fix this you will either need to provide matching boundaries to use AUTO assignment or will need to provide the site code on the command line. Also check if site components are throwing errors attempting to publish to AD (status system) ? Try running the ccmsetup like CCMSetup.exe /mp:SMSMP01 /logon SMSSITECODE=C01 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680980.aspx) For more information about client Assignment http://technet.micro...y/bb681005.aspx
  13. DISM do support mount the XP WIM . Have you tried mouting it ? like DISM /Mount-wim /wimfile:C:\xp_32Bit.wim /index:1 /Mountdir:c:\mount More info on DISM http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd744382(WS.10).aspx
  14. You can Try this https://blogs.technet.com/b/deploymentguys/archive/2010/01/20/configuring-regional-and-language-settings-online-in-an-mdt-task-sequence.aspx ? also if you want to change locale in WIM,still you can do that using DISM like after Mounting DISM /Image:c:\Mount /Set-SKUIntlDefaults:fr-FR

  16. Congrats Mate !
  17. Configuration Manager does not automatically create the System Management container in Active Directory Domain Services when the schema is extended. The container must be created once for each domain that includes a Configuration Manager site server that will publish site information to Active Directory Domain Services. You can manually create the System Management container in Active Directory Domain Services using ADSIEdit and provide full permissions to the container for Site server. http://www.windows-n...tive-directory/

  20. As soon as Possible option causes the assigned program to run after it reaches the client, and as soon as all required conditions are met. This event can occur immediately after the advertisement is received, for example, if the program is specified to run when no user is logged on, or after the current user logs off. The client has no control over this setting. What option have you selected for the TS advertisement ? download content locally or acess content directly.
