  8. Nope, since you have removed the package from the test machine(if the machine reported back to server on the successful removal of it) and as per the schdule,it should install automatically. You can try using right click tools to rerun the ADV on test computer. recomended is to use :"run with administrative rights" option since, this option forces the program to run under the local system account on the client computer.
  9. Do you have Asset intelliegence enabled in your site since v_GS_INSTALLED_EXECUTABLE View Lists information about the installed software application executables on Configuration Manager clients found through Asset Intelligence. To get the list of Iexplore versions, use this syntax: select filename as "executable name",left(FileVersion,14)as "File Version",COUNT(*)as Total from v_GS_SoftwareFile where FileName='iexplore.exe' group by FileName,FileVersion More on Iexplore here
  10. What version of WinPE are you importing Drivers to ? There is Compatibility issues with WinPE 2.0 version when importing drivers? Try reloading the boot WIM and what happens? 18. Another post avilable from you on the same issue here I guess.
  19. Another post avilable from you on http://www.windows-n...-sccm-2007-sp2/ .seems to be the same post on this issue. You can verify this Under the option "Select image you want to view:", switch between the different images (i.e., "1-1" or "2-2") that are contained in the WIM file. Determine which image, i.e. 1-1 or 2-2, contains the Windows installation. The image that contains the Windows installation will have information next to the fields "OS version", "Architecture", "HAL Type", and "Description". The non-Windows data image will not have anything next to these fields.
  20. Seems that an incorrect image is trying to be applied during the "Apply Operating System Image" task. At the "Apply Operating System Image" task, an image that contains a Windows OS needs to be selected. If a data image is selected instead, the errors will occur. How are you doing the this step in applying Operating system. Image does not contain OS architecture information. Unable to verify that the OS will be compatable with the target machine.<BR>Unable to find a Windows system root at C:\. Element not found. (Error: 80070490; Source: Windows)<BR>Failed to find the system root for the applied OS. Element not found. (Error: 80070490; Source: Windows) check out this link for more information http://support.micro....com/kb/2023447
  21. can you check the client logs to see if it has issues while running the machine policy ? are you able to disover the site code ? Also can you check the CLSID(F80A8D57-D338-43FF-A5E6-5D093EA80775) in component services--->My computer-->DCOM Config , if you have permission on this particualr ID with Local Launch and Remote Lanuch Permissions ?
  22. can you try customising the console(if the all the nodes of SCCM will show in console) by selecting all the features to see if it comes back to normal ?
  23. Did you see this Creating Custom Reports By Using Configuration Manager 2007 SQL Views http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en. It should give you all the views with the column names to pick from.
  24. take a look at this post here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/configmgrsetup/thread/7c1b7fab-e999-4bf7-b6b8-f54506199e4d
  25. as per i know,If the clients are in mixed mode(for clients in native mode,no approval is required), then they(SCCM clients) will still function normally, even if not approved. The only thing they can't do is use the Network Access account. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb633214.aspx
